Mood fantastic - wand massager discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by mostlygolden

When I first bought the Mood Fantastic, it was my second or third toy. What brought me down to it was standing in line at the store with the Magic Wand and the Mood Fantastic in my hands. I had the store clerk showed me in my hand the difference in feel between the two. I ended up with the Mood Fantastic simply because it has a dial switch and the sound of the Magic Wand terrified me.

I got home and charged the Mood Fantastic up, excited to see that I didn't need to buy any batteries for it. When I'm getting off with wands, I prefer using them over my boxers as stimulation by direct contact gets old very fast. No matter what, I love this wand.

It has an option for pulsating (which doesn't change very much based on the slider) and the button is in a place where if you hold it from the wrong angle you're in for a jolt, as it boosts the power of the vibrations when you hold down the button. Overall, I'm content, though.

The sides of the head of the toy have a little bit of texture to them due to some rings around the edge and I think that adds to the toy, honestly. It feels really interesting.

I only use water based lube, but I find that the head is so small that lube isn't really needed. It slides around a little too much and tends to make a really un-flattering slappy noise.

The charge doesn't last as long as expressed on the box (and it does say that it needs like 3 hours of charging for an hour or so of play, which is a bummer)

The reason I ended up buying this wand, originally, was mainly because I broke the head of a different one I had bought before, and to be fair it was a cheap one. This toy's head is flexible and durable and to my knowledge will last a while. Though I do hear its getting louder with age and use, I think it'll be a while before it tears apart (if it even does.)

Overall I definitely recommend this for beginners and for people who just want a bit more variety in a wand's strength.
