This is a bullet and is best used to stimulate your body with vibrations. Its got the typical bullet vibrator layout: bullet attached to a cord and the cord attached to the controls and battery compartment. You can use this bullet to stimulate anywhere that you enjoy vibrations on your body, although insertion isn't recommended because the Colt doesn't have a proper removal cord or flared base. This is labeled as a turbo bullet, and the vibrations are pretty strong, but if you are not a fan of stronger vibrations, this toy may still work for you because there are two speeds and the lowest one is pretty average. At the same time, if you find a Hitachi is what you need to get off, this ain't gonna get you far. The Colt xtreme turbo bullet can be used solo, or during partner/sensory play.

This bullet is made from the same metallic looking plastic that is found on most bullets. Its food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free. The bullet part is smooth, with a seam running around the middle that is a little tangible, but not rough or scratchy. The battery compartment/ control button is very slightly textured black plastic, with a gray plastic insert that has a little more grip to it on each end. The plastic didn't really have a smell that I could tell. I've found that with a little use, oil or lubes will make the logo on the side rub off. It doesn't effect use, and hasn't harmed the structure of the bullet at all.

The design, shape, and size of the bullet are typical of most bullet vibrators, sort of oval (measures 2 inches from tip to tip and 1 inch across and has a 3 1/4 inch circumference). The shape of the battery compartment/control button is similar to a kidney bean (it measures 3 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide), and when your hands are lubed or oiled up, it can be tough to hold onto. It takes two AA batteries that are easy to load or switch if you need to, if your hands aren't slick. The battery compartment is located in the control unit. This toy is easy to hide in a drawer or wherever you stash your goodies. Its compact and won't take up a lot of room or be easy to spot if hidden under something. If you leave it out in the open, chances are whoever sees it is going to know what it is. As far as taking it with you on a trip, there isn't a way to lock the control button, so if you do travel with it, take the batteries out so people won't start to wonder if you phone is malfunctioning in your bag.

This bullet is described as a turbo bullet in the product name, and I believe it lives up to this description. On the low setting, this bullet has about the same amount of power as any other bullet, however on the high setting this thing is one powerful toy! All of the vibrations come from the bullet which is connected to a 29 inch cord, so there is plenty of length between the bullet and the control button. The on/off/speed button is on the top, opposite from where the cord comes out, and you cycle through the two available speeds and on/off by pressing it consecutively. The bullet starts on low with one press, switches to high with the next press, and then back to off with the third press. Pressing the button to cycle through the speeds is a drawback in my opinion, and the button is hard to press if you are all slicked up, making operation of the bullet frustrating. The battery compartment is located on the control unit, and it is easy to get it batteries in and out. Just a heads up, this toy is not whisper quiet. If you share a room with someone and don't want them to know you are using a vibrating toy, this one is not for you. The noise level is not so loud that it could be heard from the other side of a closed door, though. I've used this bullet for about an hour and a half in total with a set of used batteries I had stashed in the cabinet, and so far the power has been consistent and strong, so it doesn't seem to be a battery hog.

To clean this toy up, we simply wipe it with a damp cloth or a little bit of toy cleaner. We try to avoid getting this thing super messy because of the crevices and seams there are to clean out (around the cord, seam in the middle of the bullet, etc.), but it is listed as waterproof, so it could be cleaned under running water if it got messy enough. The plastic material is compatible with water and silicone based lubes as well as oil. We throw this toy in our toy chest with all our other toys and it usually stays free of dust, dirt, and lint. The cord will sometimes get a little tangled, but its easily straightened out. It doesn't stick to, or have reactions with any of our other toys.

Though this toy can be a little loud, the vibrations are nice and pleasantly strong. Even when inserted into a toy the vibrations are still easily felt. In comparison to an average bullet, this one is marginally stronger, but it isn't so strong it will make your teeth rattle. For a bullet, it definitely packs a punch.

My experience with this toy has been a pleasant one. I really like this bullet, which is quite an accomplishment. It is reliable when I want a clitoral orgasm both with a rabbit sleeve we have and as a stand alone stimulator.
