Extreme pure gold - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by unfulfilled

Use: The Extreme Pure Gold from California Exotics is designed to simultaneously please you clitorally and vaginally.

Material/Texture: The vibrator is made out of hygienic TPE material and the controller and beads are ABS plastic with metallic plating. There are two rows of beaded bumps and one solid circle around the head of the rabbit to add a little bit of texture. The bottom row has eight bumps and the top row has seven bumps on it. I do not feel it adds or takes away from the product. You can also see the seam in the rabbit, but I'm not able to feel it.

My husband pulled on the top and said, “Hey, it stretches.” Along with being stretchable it is also soft, flexible, and had no odor.

Design/Size/Color: The Extreme Pure Gold is a rabbit vibrator that is somewhat larger than the average rabbit. The vibrator is a total of 12” long, but only has a 6 ¾” insertable length with a circumference of 4 ½” and 1 ½” diameter. It weighs ¾ of a pound so it is relatively light. The vibrator is gold plated with a touch of silver at the control panel with neon green controls. One thing I noticed was you can see the cords running from the gold plate to the rabbit ears and shaft. My husband considered this to be a sign of poor craftsmanship.



Noise: It is not extremely quiet, but cannot be heard over the water running in the shower or bathtub or with the door closed in your room.

Functions/Performance/Controls: When inserted fully, the rabbit ears do not reach my anatomy correctly. It overshoots the clitoris about two inches or so unless I maneuver it down to reach. In fact, the ears fall about the start of my landing strip. The vibrations are located inside the shaft of the vibrator and the bullet controls the rabbit ears. The toy does not have separate controls for the rabbit and the vibrator. I wish this was a possibility because the only way to turn the rabbit's bullet off is by turning the whole thing off. Since the rabbit ears did not work with my anatomy, I would like this to be an option because I do not like it vibrating my upper pubic bone.

The vibrator has three push button controls that are supposed to be illuminated LED or glow-in-the-dark. They are the color of LED, but when my husband and I used it, the controls did not light up. The only thing that lit up was a red light showing that it was on. The controls are figured from top to bottom: high/low with a symbol of a triangle, right/left with a symbol of a heart, and on/off with a symbol of a circle. The right/left feature is the direction the beads are spinning.



Inside the shaft of the rabbit, there are six rows of eight beads for a total of forty-eight beads for maximum pleasure. The rows are stacked on top of each other. If you firmly hold your hand over the beads it will quit rotating, but I did not feel it jam when in proper use. When inserted, I do not find the vibrations to be overly powerful which is nice for me because I cannot handle extremely strong vibrations.

It takes 4 AA batteries that are not included. The battery compartment pops out for easy battery insertion and has a twist on/off cap. I have not run my batteries down yet and I have used it on three different occasions with probably an hour total run time. My longest experience with it was when I was testing the waterproof capabilities in the bathtub.



Care/Maintenance: On the package, it suggests to wash before and after every use. You can use your favorite toy cleaner or mild soap and water. It is completely waterproof; I tested it in the bathtub and can be submerged as long as the lid is screwed on tightly. Also, remove the batteries when not in use to prolong the life of the toy. The packaging states to always use water-based lubricant with this product.

Packaging: The vibrator came in a clear, plastic, non-discrete box that you can clearly see the rabbit inside.



Storage: The rabbit did not come with any extra storage so I am keeping it in the box that it came in and storing at the top of my closet because it is so big and bulky that it cannot fit in my lingerie drawer. I noticed that it did pick up some lint so I wouldn't recommend just throwing it in a drawer. I would not consider taking this traveling with me due to its large size.

My husband was the first one to see this toy and his first reaction was, “Holy cow, you have to be an Amazon woman to take that thing.” He found it to be huge and intimidating at first until he took a closer look at it and realized that it wasn't designed to be totally inserted.

At first, the size was intimidating to me as well. After proper lubrication, I was able to take the whole thing in, but found about the last inch or so to be uncomfortable. However, I found the rotation of the shaft to be comfortable and pleasing. The main problem I have with this is the rabbit fingers did not fit my anatomy properly. If the rabbit fingers were positioned lower than it would work with my anatomy. Also, the controls are configured to control the vibrator body and the bullet to the clitoral rabbit at the same time. This is pointless for some, as they may be not receiving any clitoral stimulation from it due to its location.

Other than that, it is a nice rabbit with medium power which I am a fan of. I do not like a toy to be strongly powered and I also do not like a toy to not have enough power; this rabbit provided just the right amount of vibration I was looking for.

I really need clitoral stimulation while I'm playing to get off, and this did not reach my anatomy properly to be fulfilled.
