The Studio Collection Vibrating Lipstick is a waterproof, multi-speed, multi-function, discreet vibrator made by The Screaming O. Any girl looking for a vibe that is handy, super-portable and blends right in with your make-up bag, this is the toy for you (unless you're like me and have that one friend who always go through your makeup to borrow lipstick or lipgloss)! This vibrator is made for clitoral stimulation and can be used during solo play or some fun with a partner.
This vibe requires 3 AG-13 battery, which may deter some, but get this - it comes with 3 extra! This was a pleasant surprise, as I, personally, try to stay away from anything other than AA or AAA batteries. When it's time to replace the battery on this one, it's very simple. All you have to do is unscrew the base and it will come right off.


Material/ Texture:
This vibe is made of a higher-quality silicone plastic with a smooth, non-porous texture. If you are using any lube with this one, because of the silicone, it should be water-based.
The base of this vibe is sleek and smooth, like a real tube of lipstick, but this makes it slippery and hard to keep a good grasp on, especially if using it in the shower or with any lube. At one point, it slipped so far away from me I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman saying "slippery little sucker"!
The tip of the toy, the part that resembles the actual lipstick, feels like soft, smooth rubber and does move around a bit. Because of this give, if you like a firmer vibrator then this probably wouldn't be the best option.

Functions/ Performance/ Controls:
One of the best parts about this toy is that it not has various intensity levels, it also has two functions. All of this is controlled by a single push-button located on the bottom of the toy. One simple click turns the vibrator on and provides a low, steady vibration. Two clicks gives you more intensity and three clicks gives you even more. The fourth and final function is random, multi-pulse vibrations known as "the tease mode." Unfortunately, if you like and/ or need super-strong, intense vibrations I don't think this one will do the job, especially if you like to build up to that high level.
For as small as this toy is, the battery does last a long time. The manufacturer claims 80+ minutes, but I have found it to be more like 45 - 60. Either way it's better than many of the small vibes that only work for 20 minutes - if you're lucky.


Care & Maintenance:
This little vibe is very easy to maintain and because it is waterproof, cleaning is quick. You can use warm water and soap or any of your favorite silicone-compatibile toy cleaners.


Packaging:
The Screaming O is packaged in a clear, plastic sleeve that comes in a sleek, black cardboard box with white and metallic red writing. It is nice and sophisticated and provides and photo and detailed descriptions on the back.

With the exception of being difficult to grasp, I think this is a great little vibrator. It is easy to use and I really like have the various speeds to work up to. Clean-up has been a breeze and no one notices that it's not really a tube of lipstick!

The intensity of the vibrations kept decreasing and the motor died out much faster than I had expected. I had only used it a handful of times before I had to throw it out. The quality of the material was high, but the longevity was a big disappointment.
