The Little Egg That Couldn't

This egg is cute, but that's about it. It's extremely loud, yet it's also very weak. The separate remote control also seems to be useless, as you can't really get it to work unless you're right next to the egg. I'm glad that I got this as a free gift, because I would be really upset if I had purchased it.

Use

This little vibrator fell into my hands when it was offered as a free gift with purchase. I had high hopes for this one, but sadly it was a major disappointment for me. I've tried over and over again with this toy, and it has never once brought me even close to orgasm. If you don't require strong vibrations, maybe this would work for you -- it didn't work at all for me, though.

If the vibrations are strong enough for you, there are a few ways you can use this vibrator. You can use it with a partner. The small size makes it a good choice for holding on your clitoris during intercourse. You could also insert the little bullet into your vagina, and then give your partner the remote. The trouble here is, I found that the controller basically needs to be right next to the bullet in order to function properly.

You can also use the small remote egg solo. The egg can, again, be used on your clitoris. It's also safe to put inside of your vagina, as it features a firmly attached retrieval cord. Honestly though, if I insert it vaginally, I prefer to put it in a condom. That's just because I have had bullets get stuck in my vagina before.

You also have the option of using this as a body massager, or even to stimulate a male partners genitals.

I think that it goes without saying, but for the sake of safety... please do not put this toy in your bum! Yes, it does feature a retrieval cord, but it there is nothing to prevent that cord from getting sucked up into your bum -- just as there's nothing that really prevents the cord from snapping.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of food-grade plastic, which rates as an 8 on Eden's safety scale. Plastic is hypoallergenic, latex free, phthalates free, and non-porous. The plastic on this toy also does not feature any unpleasant odors or tastes as far as I could tell.

As this toy is made out of plastic, it's very firm. There is no give, or flex, to this toy at all. The toy does have a sort of velvety soft feel to it, though, which is nice. There is also a slight drag to the material, though it didn't irritate me at all.

Those of you that are seam sensitive might find yourself irritated by the seam on the bullet. The seam is obvious, and it's found right around the center of the egg.

Design / Shape / Size

There's not a lot to say about the design of this toy. The egg is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand -- measuring about 2" in length, and 1 1/2" in diameter. The remote is also able to fit in my hand with ease, with it measuring only 1 1/2" in length, and 1 1/8" wide. The size of the egg and controller were nice enough for me, and I believe that most people will be just fine with the size.

The egg part is, of course, egg shaped. Batteries are inserted into the egg, so there's a seam that goes around the center of it.

I found it difficult to get any real stimulation from the egg while it was inserted in my vagina. It just didn't stimulate my g-spot. I think that part of the problem here may have been the weak vibrations. The shape was, however, nice on my clitoris -- though again, the lack of power made it difficult for me to enjoy this toy.

The toy is discreet and easily hidden, so traveling with this toy should be no problem.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The egg requires 2 LR1 batteries to run, whereas the controller requires 4 watch batteries. All of these batteries are included with the toy, so you won't need to worry about replacing them until the batteries die.

I thought it seemed kind of cool that the controller is completely separate from the egg. At least, that's what I thought until I realized that you still have to hold the controller really close to the egg in order for it to work. So... the whole separate remote thing? Nice idea, but extremely poorly executed.

The good thing about this toy is that it features a lot of vibration levels. The bad, however, is that many of these patterns feel very similar -- and they're all pretty weak. If you don't require strong vibrations, though, maybe you'll like this. If so, you can expect to find steady, constant vibrations, as well as patterns. The patterns are pretty much all just different levels of pulsing -- and they're not even that different. On the highest setting, this toy is probably about 2 1/2 vrooms, but it gets about 4 bees on the highest setting. So, it's loud, but it's not powerful.

The controls on the remote are easy to use. There are two separate buttons. One button is the on/off button, whereas the other simply says "10" under it. The "10" button is used to cycle through the vibrations.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is able to handle any kind of lubricant that you wish to use, be it oil, silicone or water-based.

Cleaning the toy is also simple. You can use antibacterial soap and warm water, or a toy cleaner/wipe. You can also wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol.

As for storage, I would recommend that you remove the batteries when this toy is not in use. This is to prevent the batteries from draining. I would also suggest that you store both the controller and the egg in a ziplock bag, in order to ensure that you don't lose one of the two pieces. After all, if you lose one, the other piece is pretty much worthless. Though... in my opinion... both pieces were kind of worthless, even together.

Personal comments

I tried my best to love this toy, but even when I was really turned on... it just did nothing for me. If it was a little quieter, a little more powerful, and didn't require those weird batteries, maybe it would be better. As it is? I really can't stand this toy.
Follow-up commentary
After trying this out a few times, it ended up right in the garbage. It never worked as it should, and it never managed to bring me to orgasm. Maybe I'm just hard to please?
