Let me begin by saying... wow! Who would've thought that such a small toy could be so enjoyable? This is a toy that I bought just because it was kind of cute, but I never expected it to do much for me. Boy, was I surprised!

This toy is meant for dual stimulation. You have the little tiny dildo attachment, which is intended to go inside of you. Then, you have the butterfly itself, which rests pretty well against your clitoris. This design seems to work better than your standard rabbit vibrator, and I think it will fit almost any female's anatomy well (whereas rabbit vibrators tend to be hit or miss). The biggest worry with this vibrator will be if the dildo attachment will reach your g-spot, but even if it doesn't... it's still amazing.

So, say this one doesn't work for dual stimulation for you, or that you just don't like that kind of stimulation. You can also use it for just clitoral stimulation. The best way of doing this is to hold the head of the little "penis" against your clitoris. It feels FANTASTIC.

You could also potentially use this for anal use -- although I have not done so personally.

As for couples play... this is an okay option for that. It would, obviously, get in the way during vaginal sex, and the toy does cover your clitoris during use, but this one can still be a lot of fun for couples!

Also, if you like, you could use this one in water! There is a waterproof seal on the controller that makes this one safe for some fun in the shower.

This toy is made of two different materials.

The controller is made out of plastic, which rates as an 8 on Eden's safety scale. The plastic is found JUST on the controller. Still, it's a safe material. The plastic on this toy is shiny, smooth, and comfortable to hold onto.

The actual butterfly/dildo is made of smooth, food-grade silicone. Silicone rates as a 10 on Eden's safety scale, making it one of the safest materials for sex toys. It's hypoallergenic, non-porous, latex free, and phthalates free. You can't go wrong with silicone!

The silicone on this toy is smooth, and relatively drag free. There is some subtle texture to the toy in the form of ridges and lines on the shaft of the dildo -- but I could not feel that texture during use. Perhaps that texture would be more relevant if this was a toy that you'd thrust with, but as it's not... the texture was just kind of wasted on me.

The toy does not have any noticeable scents or tastes, as far as I can tell.

... and here is the cute little butterfly's penis. Pretty well hung for a butterfly, but pretty small for an insertable toy. Size queens, this one is not for you! The penis bit only measures about 3" long, so it's quite small. It's also only about 1 1/4" in diameter.

The penis has a very subtle curve. It didn't hit my g-spot perfectly, but it did feel very good. If your g-spot is a bit deeper, or if you require a more intense curve to hit it, this isn't going to stimulate it well.

The butterfly covers my clitoris well, although I do find that I need to add a little bit of pressure to really get off with it. While I do have to push on the toy to really get off, it's still basically hands free. If you don't require a lot of pressure, it'll pretty much stay in place and do its job -- once you get it set.

To use this toy, you will need 2-AAA batteries. The two batteries are inserted into the plastic controller. The controller itself is simple to use, with their being only two buttons. First, there is the power button, which looks like a half circle with a little line. Then, there is this little button with a squiggly line on it -- this button is what controls the settings. I like that the power button is separate from the settings button.

There are seven settings total for this toy, which is pretty cool. First, there's the basic, steady vibrations, for the first three settings. There's the low, medium, and high. The lowest setting is around 1 buzz, and the highest setting is around 3.5 buzzes. Next, there are the pattern settings -- which are basically just pulsating and escalating patterns.

I found that the vibrations of this toy travel nicely throughout the butterfly and shaft well. I really felt like all of my favorite spots got stimulated wonderfully. I also loved that the vibrations were more rumbly than buzzy -- although they could certainly have been a bit deeper.

The toy is rather quiet. I have no problem using it with others in the house, though that might be a problem if you have thin walls.

This toy is waterproof, so cleaning it is pretty easy. You don't need to worry about water getting in the wrong place and ruining your nice toy. You can easily clean this toy with a toy cleaner, toy wipe, or with just soap and water. I, personally, use a toy wipe. It cleans up very easily, but you should be sure that you clean in between the little ridges on the toy as bodily fluids can easily get stuck in between the ridges.

Also, I would recommend that you wash this before and after use, as it is quite a lint magnet.

If you find that you need a lubricant with this toy, make sure that you stick with water-based lubricants -- silicone lube could degrade the silicone material.

As for storage, this toy can really be stored anywhere. I, personally, store mine in a Ziploc bag in my toy box.
