Too Much? No Way!

Too Much is a fabulous silicone vibrator by Dorcel. It’s dual-motored and has 10 functions of vibration and pulsation that feel extraordinary. It is large and has some mild texture that may be intimidating to some, but will be adored by those who love girthy toys and strong vibrations.

Use

It's big!

Too Much is a silicone vibe by Dorcel that features two motors in its shaft and has 10 vibrating functions.
Too Much has a lovely bulbous head and ridges along its shaft which do a great job of stimulating the G-spot. This toy does have a lot of power and can be used for clitoral stimulation as well.

Even though it is large and I don’t see it getting lost easily, I still wouldn’t recommend this toy for anal use because this toy does not have any flare to the base at all.
Too Much is not waterproof, so unfortunately it shouldn’t be taken in the shower or tub. But the instructions claim it’s water resistant, which makes cleaning easier.

Some people might feel this toy is appropriately named and may find the size to be a little too large. I wouldn’t recommend this to a beginner just because of the girth and texture. But I think that advanced toy users, especially those who love size and strength, are going to love this toy!

Material / Texture

The shaft of Too Much is made from a lovely, deep magenta silicone and the handle is made from ABS plastic. Both silicone and plastic are non-porous and body-safe, and neither of these materials will harbor any harmful bacteria as long as the surface of the toy is kept clean.

The silicone is matte and feels very buttery and smooth, and there is a pleasant amount of drag. This toy does like to pick up a little bit of lint, but it’s not very bad compared to other silicone toys I own. When using a lubricant with this toy, make sure to use a water-based lube. Silicone-based lubes can have a chemical interaction with silicone toys and damage the material which will ruin the toy.

At the base of the shaft there is a section of shiny pink plastic which is what the battery cap screws into. The cap itself is made from a velvety, dark gray plastic and the control pad on it appears to be made from the same pink silicone that the shaft is.

Design / Shape / Size

Too Much

Too Much is a total of 8.25 inches long with 6 inches of it being insertable, and the shaft has a circumference of 4.75 inches.
It has a bulbous head which feels lovely on the G-spot, the head is two inches long and is 5 inches around. The shaft has a slight curve to it and features 3 mild ridges, which give the shaft almost 5 inches in circumference at each little crest. The ridges on the front of the shaft may be intimidating to some, but I found them to be very comfortable and pleasurable.

There is a slight seam that runs up the middle of the front and the back of the toy but I’m not able to feel it when the toy is inserted.

There are two motors in the shaft of this toy; there’s one in the bulbous head and the other is below the middle of the shaft and located between the two lowest ridges. The shaft can flex a bit, but the portions where the motors are located are rigid.

Too Much is powered by 4 AAA batteries which fit into a cartridge that is placed under the screw cap at the base of the toy. Getting the cartridge and cap put together correctly can be a little difficult at first. There is an arrow to direct you which end of the cartridge needs to go down into the toy, but then there is a little tab on one end of the cartridge that makes it so that it can only fit in one particular way.

Also, the lid doesn’t really screw on like you would typically think, it just takes a little tiny turn and the cap will fit snugly in place, it just seems a little awkward because I would think there would be a little click with this kind of screw cap to tell you when to stop turning it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Control Pad

Too Much has 10 functions of vibration which are controlled by 4-way control pad located on the cap. I sometimes feel like the buttons are a little awkward to push because of the control pad, and sometimes you might not be pressing in quite the right spot. For the most part it’s not that big of a problem and the controls just take some getting used to.

There is a + and – buttons that turn the toy on and off and control the intensity. Then there are two other buttons that have images of what resemble tear drops on them. These two buttons will cycle through all the different functions this toy has to offer.
To turn the toy on press the + button and the toy will turn on at the lowest constant setting with only the motor in the middle of the shaft running. You can then use the + and – button to change the intensity, and there are 4 levels of intensity total.
Even the lowest level of constant vibration on this toy feels more like what would be considered a medium setting on a lot of other toys. I love power so I definitely appreciate this!

Another thing that’s really awesome about this toy is that once you get into the patterns you can still toggle between those four levels of intensity. So you can have a pulse pattern, and then choose what intensity you would like; low, medium, high, or extra high. It seems about half the toys out there will give you pulse patterns, but no options to vary the vibration strength.

Once the toy is on you can use either of the two function buttons to scroll through the patterns. I’ll be describing the patterns I cycle through while pushing the top button in the photo.

1. Constant vibration in only mid-shaft motor.
2. Constant in only tip motor.
3. Alternating pulses between motors.
4. Faster alternating pulses between motors.
5. Both motors pulsing: short, short, long, short, short.
6. Both motors pulsing very quickly
7. Both motors pulsing: long, short, short, short.
8. Both motors pulsing; short, short, short, then two even shorter pulses.
9. Mid-shaft motor doing long pulses and tip motor alternating between 1 and 2 quick pulses in between.
10. Constant vibration in both motors.

The motor in the shaft is significantly stronger and louder than the one in the head of the toy, but they blend together very nicely and I feel like it’s a good balance.
If you keep pressing the button once you get to the end, you’ll be taken back to the first setting, and you can go through the patterns again.
To turn the toy off at any time press and hold the – button for a second and the toy will turn off.

The noise from this toy is probably somewhere between 2 and 3 bees on the higher settings.
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings
    • Powerful

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Too Much is super simple. Because it’s smooth and splashproof I just take mine to the sink, spray it sown with toy cleaner and then rinse it off. If you prefer, you can also use soap and water or toy wipes, and because its silicone you can also use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize it.

I recommend taking the battery cartridge out of the toy while it’s not in use to keep the batteries from possibly getting drained.

Packaging

The packaging is nice, but it’s in no way discreet. Too Much comes in a white box with a full-sized image of the toy on the front. The front is actually a flap that can lift up to reveal the toy sitting in its tray.

On both sides of the box is an artistic black and white image of a topless woman lounging in a chair. The back has a little information about the toy and Dorcel in multiple languages. There is a diagram of the motor placement in the shaft but I don’t find it to be accurate because motor 1 is definitely in the tip of the toy and not that mid shaft.

Back of box

When you open the box the toy will be sitting in a clear tray and instructions are included. The box can be used for storage but it is a little big.

Experience

I adore toys with dual motors in the shaft and I love the unique sensations they provide. So when I saw this toy was available I jumped on it, and I’m so glad I did.
I didn’t realize how big Too Much was going to be and I was surprised upon taking it out of its box for the first time. Once I used it for the first time I was happy to find that it didn’t feel that girthy, and for me, it gave a nice, full feeling with no discomfort.

I really like the feel of the ridges on the front of the shaft. They’re not sharp or jagged and I didn’t find them to be uncomfortable in the slightest. I love G-spot stimulation, but find that mine can be a bit tricky to please. I actually found that the ridges stimulated my G-spot really, really well, which was a pleasant surprise. The head and the ridges had no problem targeting my G-spot and thrusting with this toy feels phenomenal.

I’ve also been very impressed with the strength of this toy and I’ve been thrilled by its performance so far. I was surprised that the two motors aren’t the same strength, but I haven’t found this to be an issue. The stronger motor in the center of the shaft is in the perfect spot for me, it perfectly stimulates the first inch or two of the vagina, the G-spot, and labia. I normally require a lot of power and usually turn my toys all the way up to their highest setting by the end, but I didn’t have to with Too Much. The vibrations that this toy has feel fantastic and I’ve had some earth-shattering experiences.

The only thing that could make this toy any better for me is if it was rechargeable. I’m very, very happy with this toy and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a strong vibe.
