Roulette Straight up - traditional vibrator by Evolved Novelties - review by unfulfilled

Like the majority of the Roulette line, the Roulette Straight Up by Evolved Novelties is a traditional vibrator designed for vaginal stimulation. It can also be used for clitoral stimulation as well or on any other area that enjoys being stimulated.

It does not have a flared base so I would not recommend using it anally.

You can use this solo or with a partner inserting it for you.

It's considered waterproof so you can take this along with you in the shower, bath, or pool.

It is best for those who prefer girthier toys, enjoy texture, and do not require maximum power to achieve climax.

The Roulette Straight Up is made out of silicone and plastic. The toy itself is the silicone and the handle is the plastic. Silicone is a non-porous material that rates a 10 on the Eden safety scale whereas plastic rates an 8. Both materials are considered to be a food grade material, hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthlates free.

The upper half is flexible, but the bottom is firm. Overall the silicone is smooth and soft.



It has cut out ovals for texture, but I'm never able to feel any texture when it's inserted in me so I wasn't able to tell any difference, but that may be different for those who are sensitive to texture. It does not have any seams to this toy.

It is best suited for those who enjoy textured toys and not smoother toys.

It does not have any smell even directly out of the package.

The color of the Roulette Straight Up is purple with a black handle.

It has an overall length of 8" and an insertable length of 5 1/4". It is 3 1/2" around at the head, 4 1/4" at the first larger ripple, 5" at the second ripple, and 5 1/4" at the end. It has eight small dots-bumps on three different sections of the toy. The first two sections are located at the top, but the last is at the bottom.



Due to its larger size, it's best for those who prefer girthier toys. I usually prefer thinner toys, but I'm in an experimental phase right now to see how I like thicker toys.

If one looked at it you could tell this was a sex toy, so if discretion is important to you I would suggest keeping this put up if you expect company over.

You could easily put this in a larger purse or bag if you decided to take this with you traveling.

The rumbly vibrations are felt throughout the toy, but are strongest at the upper portion of the toy. The vibrations are a nice 4 Vroom at the highest setting. Unfortunately for me, 4 Vrooms just don't do anything for me. I have to have 5 vrooms to be able to reach climax clitorally, and I'm still experimenting with what works best for me to achieve a vaginal orgasm.

It has a very easy to use twist dial control to turn the Straight Up on and increase or decrease the power. The twist dial is located at the bottom of the handle. To use, twist up to increase the power and down to decrease the power. Again, it's very simple to use. I'm not a fan of twist dials because I want to have set vibration levels that I can go back to. I suppose I'm set in my ways about that, but others may enjoy this feature.

It requires two AA batteries to operate this toy that were not included. The battery cap is located at the bottom of the toy under a twist off cap.

It is considered to be waterproof and does have an o-ring to prevent water from seeping into it. I have not had any issues with it after using it in the water.

I consider this to be fairly nice as far as noise is concerned. It can be heard by someone in a room with you, but shouldn't be heard through thin walls or a closed door.

Cleaning is very easy since it's waterproof; you can easily clean it with soap and water. You can also clean this with toy cleaners, toy wipes, or a 10% bleach solution.

When using this toy, lubricant is important because it does have drag to it. Water based lubes are the best option to use with silicone toys.

As you can tell by my picture, I have the majority of the Roulette vibes. I've been asked about how they compare to each other as far as power is concerned, and I wanted to let you know all about that. As far as I can tell, the Roulette's have the same motor and to me they are all 4 Vrooms. The designs of the Roulette's make the vibration disbursement feel different on some the Roulette's but still are 4 Vrooms.

I'm going to give this a four star rating. I consider the Roulette line to be highly crafted with great materials, but the vibrations are just not strong enough for my very stubborn clitoris to achieve any satisfaction from them. I'm still on the search for the perfect toy that will be able to give me a vaginal orgasm as well, but none of the Roulette's were that toy.

Have you been wondering why in the world I have most of them when one of them didn't work for me in the first place? I ordered them all together and did not know that the power or design of this line wouldn't work for me. They appealed to me so I had to try them out.
