We Have a Love/Hate Relationship.

Jopen’s Vr10 rabbit offers a lot! It’s silicone, rechargeable, and water resistant. The million-dollar question…is it worth the money? That depends on your opinion, for me I’m leading towards no. I think it’s about $100 overpriced. The seams and those ridges drive me nuts. This isn’t my ideal rabbit and I’ll keep looking. I still like it, but I won’t be using it a ton.

Use

Jopen’s Vr 10 is a rabbit styled vibrator designed to stimulate both internally and externally. Being an avid rabbit lover, I had been lusting after this rabbit forever. I just never wanted to drop the big bucks for it. However, I finally decided to take the plunge. This was my first Jopen purchase. Even though I didn’t fall in total love with this rabbit, I’ll be surely purchasing from Jopen again.

There’s a lot in this rabbit to love. Firstly, it’s rechargeable! Woohoo! It’s impossible to find rechargeable rabbits. Plus, it’s totally pure silicone! The controls are cool and its power will surely please most. I admit that I’m nitpicky and I don’t love everything about this rabbit. I hate the ridges and the seams all over it drive me nuts.

I would suggest this rabbit to you if you are sure it will work for your body. Make sure to look at the measurements. You don’t want to drop lots of money (or points!) on something that doesn’t do it for you.

Material / Texture

Silicone

Oh silicone, you’re my best friend! Silicone is safe to use and super comfortable. Jopen’s silicone is the best out there. It’s silky smooth to the touch. Out of all the silicone toys I have tried, it has to be my favorite. It’s nice, squishy, and flexible. Here is the clitoral attachment bent. This is nice because it can bend to suit your needs. The Shaft is not very bendy.

Silicone is very safe rating ten out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s Safety Scale. It is hypoallergenic and non-porous. This means it won’t harbor bacteria. Do not boil this rabbit to sterilize it since it could ruin the motor. If you wish to sterilize, you can clean it in a 10% bleach solution. This silicone does have a little bit of drag to it so be sure to use some lubricant. It does tend to attract hair and lint.

Seams

When you receive Jopen, a little card comes with it. I thought it was funny because it claims that it is “virtually seamless”. For a vibrator that says that, you would assume there would be little to no seams. Well there are! Seams are literally all over this toy and it drives me nuts! They are on the back of the shaft, the front, on the bunny, even on the ears. To me they are really obviously seen. For such an expensive toy ($241.99 at that!) you think it would be seamless. I expected more from Jopen. It’s not a total deal breaker for me since I can’t feel them inside. However, I don’t want to stare at ugly seams when I’m writing my review!

Those Weird Ridges

Alright, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. It’s there, annoying for most, and must be discussed. THE THREE RIDGES. Most of the rabbit is nice and smooth. The only textured part of the rabbit are the ridges. They are right on the shaft directly in front of the bunny’s ears. I wish they didn’t add these. I love texture, but I don’t see the point. If anything, they make insertion more difficult at the last part to get over the humps. It isn’t the end of the world, just a really weird idea. I have seen that in the new Jopen rabbits they took the ridges out (thankfully). If you are extremely sensitive to texture, this will probably drive you nuts. I could shave them off, but I don’t want to harm the poor little guy. I always have to be sure to give the toy an extra push at the end. I find it easier to warm up with another toy first to make sure insertion easier.

Design / Shape / Size

This rabbit is designed like most. It has a shaft and bunny clitoral attachment. The bunny itself doesn’t have a lot of detail. It has a bunny body and ears, but no mouth. The buttons are on the bottom of the shaft. Its shaft has a curved top. The bottom of the rabbit is nice and curved making it easy to hold. The rabbit comes in a purple color. It’s much darker than I expected. It’s more of a deep purple, but if you shine a lot of light on it to take a picture it almost looks pink.

The rabbit is fairly average in size. It’s 9 ½” long with an insertable length of 4 ¾”. It has a circumference of 5 ½ and a diameter of 1 ½”. It’s not small by any means, but not huge. It’s average in size suitable for most out there. It is a little long, I sometimes feel like there’s a lot to insert.

I like to add measurements for the actual clitoral attachment so you know it works well for you. I hate trying out rabbits that are too short and don’t reach my clit! The whole rabbit is almost 4 inches long. When you insert the rabbit, the ears will reach upwards of 3 inches. This is pretty long for a rabbit. It will surely work for most individuals. I definitely prefer longer rabbits than shorter ones.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Lock Feature

When you receive your Jopen rabbit, the controls are locked so it won’t go off during shipment. To unlock it, hold down both buttons until it lights up all the way. Voila! Your toy is ready to be mounted. Oddly enough, the toy is ready to go but the manual says to charge it first before use. To lock it again, simply repeat the same process.

Rechergeable Feature

The rabbit is rechargeable! It’s really easy to charge. It doesn’t have a finicky charger like some toys. To charge it, place it in the flowered base. The adapter plugs into the back of the flower. When it charges, the red lights on the bottom go up and down. It looks like an airport runway! When the rabbit is done charging, it will stop flashing. It usually takes a few hours to charge. The charge does tend to last quit a bit of time. I use it for a few sessions on its maximum speed and it holds power fairly well. I’ve only had to charge it once so far.

Buttons

The control panel works a little differently than most so it does take some time to get used to. To change settings, you have to hold down the particular button for at least a second. If you just click it fast it will turn off the toy. The button on the top rotates the shaft and the bottom button operates the clitoral attachment.

Shaft and Clitoral Attachment

There are two motors in this toy. One located at the bottom of the bunny and near the middle of the shaft. The shaft generally rotates. It’s not extreme by any means, but it is definitely noticeable inside. The shaft can hold up to a lot of pressure. When I constrict my hand around the shaft, it still rotates pretty fast. It hardly slows down at all. It sure is strong.

The clitoral attachment is very powerful. Although the motor is in the middle of the bunny, the vibrations travel well throughout the rabbit and its ears. If you have it on the highest setting, the vibrations can even be felt through the shaft. There are no patterns with this toy. That doesn’t bother me, but if you love patterns don’t get this rabbit. Each button can access seven settings. There are a total of 14. It is definitely powerful for a rabbit. I’d give it a vroom of 4. Since it is powerful, it is a little loud on the highest setting. It’s not the loudest and pretty quiet on the lower settings. I’m giving it a bee of 2.

The rabbit is water resistant, not waterproof! I was under the false assumption that it was waterproof. The brochure says water-resistant so I’m not going to immerse it in water. I haven’t had any issues when washing it in water.

Care and Maintenance

Since this rabbit is water resistant, you can wash it in warm water and soap. To sterilize, wash it in a 10% bleach solution. It's fairly easy to clean.

Since this is silicone don't use a silicone lubricant. It could ruin the material. I like to use a water based lubricant.

    • Easy to store

Packaging

Ok, so out of everything you consider about a toy, packaging is indeed the least important. However, I’m not going to lie that I love cool packaging! Unfortunately, Jopen’s packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It’s placed in a plain white box. I was really sad; the front of my box was slightly dirty. Not overtly obvious, but being the sex toy guru I am it bothered me. The front lists its name, the back showing a picture of it with details on it. I ended up recycling the package.

Inside, you have your rabbit, the charger base, an informational brochure, a really cool storage bag, and the charger. I love the black bag! It’s silky smooth and big enough to store lots of things! You can store all your Jopen items, and a few more toys. It has Jopen written on the front in white writing. I wish I could buy these bags separately; I’d get a few more. The informational brochure does give some pointers on how to operate the rabbit. Here are all the items included.

Warranty Information

The packaging does say that it includes a one year warranty and an optional ten year warranty. To be eligible, you must register at the Jopen website. I decided to register mine for two reasons: one it’s super expensive and I wanted to add my experience here. When I first went to the website, I had an issue finding the warranty information. I finally found it! You go to the product registration page and you have to click on an external link to register. Make sure you keep your box with the barcode to register! Once you finish this webpage, you are enrolled in the one-year warranty. They send you a confirmation email. Once you open this email, there is a link to enroll in the ten-year warranty. This warranty entitles you to a new Jopen for 50% off if yours dies. I was a little worried that it would ask to pay for it, but it didn’t. I did have to fill out an extra form, but in the end it was worth it.

Personal comments

Although I did get this rabbit 30% off, I was a little sad that I didn’t fall in complete love with this rabbit. I’m rating it four stars out of five. I love that it’s silicone, rechargeable, and powerful. However, I hate the seams, ridges, and cost! For a $241.99 toy, I thought it would be a little better. I still think it’s great, but I’m not sure how much I love it. This and Sugar Pop are my favorite rabbits. The ridges sometimes make me more hesitant to use this rabbit. In general, I get a little frustrated with this rabbit. It doesn’t have as much to stimulate the clit as the Sugar Pop does. I sometimes love it and sometimes hate it. I’ll wait a few months and see which way my rabbit favoritism goes. Right now, I prefer the Sugar Pop.

I loved this review! I loved what you did with the clit arm and the measuring tape. I'm sure that will help! I would sugest the vr 10.5 if you feel up to trying another. No ridges! I think it is a little smaller too. Thanks for all your hard work on this one! It really shows!

Great job on this awesomely honest review!!! Thanks for all the details and pictures

Wow - the info on the seams was great. It's my firm belief in rabbits that what will work for one won't work for all. I can't see such a huge price tag for a product that might or might not work for one's anatomy. Nice job.

Great review! The info on the seams and ridges is very useful, since I love texture (but not seams), but only in thrusting toys, and this doesn't seem conducive to that kind of use. Also, the warranty info is very useful, since it's such an expensive toy.

Excellent review, thank you for sharing. Sorry the ridges make it harder to work with. I always laugh about the "virtually seamless" on my Jopens as well.

Thanks for the great review. It does seem way too expensive for a vibrator.
