Your Personal Rabbit Peter!

I would totally recommend this toy to any novice toy user, and even to folks that have a lot of toys! This toy is great for solo use, as well as for couples! The CRP definitely even has it's place with folks who have a lot of different toys.

Use

The classic Rabbit pearl may be used in many different ways; however, my personal favorite use for it is as a traditional get-off toy! This vibrator is great for novice toy users that have tried few toys or, women who have never owned a personal toy before. It's simple to use, not complicated to figure out, and (in my experience, at least) brings pleasure quite easily.

Folks that are more experienced with toys can even find a use for the Rabbit Classic Pearl. It may not have all the variety of functions and control that can be found in other toys, but this little bunny can pack a power-house of pleasure and excitement!

Even for those that have other toys with bigger and better functions, this could be great to get the lady in the right mood. Even if she is not in a state of arousal, chances are that if this toy is used, she *will* be in an aroused state!

This toy works wonderfully for solo use; it's quite easy to use on your own, and it is designed to do one thing very well: Get a gal to orgasm! However, as I mentioned, this toy would be great for couples to use. It's perfect for use as a tool for arousal, and it's great as a 'finisher'. If the lady does not feel complete after regular couples' sex, she WILL if she uses this!

This toy is designed to stimulate the clitoris, the labia, and the G-Spot (IF you have a shallow G-Spot). This toy may not work with all women's G-Spots; those who like, or need, length and a lot of girth could be disappointed. However, the clitoral attachment is pretty spot-on, and flexible enough to be moved to suit a variety of clitoral placements.

Also, if one were so inclined, this toy could also be used to stimulate the anal area by way of the clitoral portion. I would not so much recommend anal insertion with this toy because it is very porous, and therefore, cannot be properly cleaned. Even with a condom, this toy is simply not made to be a toy for anal insertion. However, if one still chooses to do so, the clitoral attachment could be used as a "stopper".

Material / Texture

Classic Rabbit Pearl is made of a jelly and rubber materials. This material rates a "2" on the EF body safety scale ("10" being the safest material) however it IS a phthalates-free material. I did not notice any overt smell at first, though perhaps there may have been a slight 'rubbery' smell. I've had this product for over a year now, and there is no noticeable odor to it.

This toy feels rubbery to the touch; the clitoral attachment is rubbery as well, but it is quite pliable. The shaft of the toy is much harder, but not uncomfortable upon insertion. The head of the toy is quite a bit softer than the shaft, and is somewhat 'bulbous' feeling. As one can see from the EF picture, the toy is phallic shaped.

The shape and texture of this toy is useful to most toy novices, as well as those more experienced with toys.

One thing I would like to mention is that the shaft is *mostly* smooth, except for a few little 'bumps' or, raised circular nubs, up near the head portion of the shaft. Most likely, these little nubs are there to add sensation upon insertion, but I don't feel them, nor do I think they really add anything to the way the shaft feels.

Design / Shape / Size

The Classic Rabbit Pearl is a traditional "rabbit-style" vibrator. It has a phallic-shaped shaft, and bunny ears for the clitoral attachment. The Classic comes in a few different colors; two different pinks, and a purple. In the middle of the shaft, there are beads that are designed to move and stimulate the labia. I did not find these beads to be all that stimulating, or even very pleasurable. The beads seemed kind of 'cheap' to me, and in the first one or two uses, most of them ended up misshapen and 'squashed'.

The shaft on the Classic is designed to 'swirl', and stimulate the vagina and/or G-Spot. Women with shallow G-Spots may have much better luck with stimulation. I, personally, found the movement of the shaft to be so weak that I don't even turn that part on. However, the clitoral attachment did not seem at all weak to me, and usually will bring me to orgasm in no time!

The Classic is not a very large toy. Women who like a lot of length, or girth in their toys may not be satisfied. New toy users might find the measurements of this toy acceptable, however.

I would like to add that for MOST women the shape of the head of this toy wouldn't be a bother, but it IS a little bit 'bulbous'. For some women who aren't used to that, or who suffer from vaginismus, it *may* hurt.

Just a quick point about the 'feel' of the Rabbit Pearl; since the shaft swirls, instead of having a vibration, all you feel is the shaft moving in a circular motion inside of you. Whether or not it stimulates, or even reaches, the G-Spot has more to do with each individual user's anatomy. The beads are also swirling, but I didn't think they added much of a benefit (but that's personal experience; some users may love them).

The vibrations from the clitoral attachment are of the 'buzzy' variation. When the clitoral part is turned on, you can actually see the ears buzzing back and forth. I enjoy this kind of sensation, and since I do not have a whole lot to compare it to, it feels great for me. I do find that I usually need the clitoral piece to be turned up to full capacity to orgasm; but the lower setting also feels great.

Functions / Performance / Controls

One thing I did like very much about the CRP was the control system. The way this toy operates is through a hand-held device which is attached to the toy. This seems a lot easier to me than a couple of the other dual vibes I have owned. It always seemed hard for me to find the controls in the heat of the moment, and it can be very frustrating to hit a control you did NOT want to hit, or (even worse), accidentally hit a control that totally throws you off!

With this little guy, there are only two options for both the clitoral attachment and the shaft. They are little sliders on opposite sides of the hand-held control unit. The clitoral attachment "buzzes", and the shaft rotates. To start the stimulation, of either side, or for more stimulation (on either control), simply slide the button up. For less, slide down. To turn off either side, slide down completely. It couldn't get any easier than that!

As for variety in it's functions, the CRP does not have any other setting but On/Higher/Off. The clitoral attachment 'buzzes' accordingly to the speed setting, and the shaft (and the beads within) simply swirl. Of course, you can escalate the one setting by sliding the control, but that's it. Not to say both the attachment and the shaft don't do well with that one function, but those who are looking for a lot of variety in a toy would be smart to look elsewhere.

Some women may not like the control style, however; for women who want both hands on the toy at all times, this is obviously a draw-back. Of course, you could always find the setting you like, and then use both hands on the toy, but it makes it hard if you want to switch back and forth to different settings. I, personally, did not have any problems using only one hand.

Additionally, some may be taken aback by the cord leading from the base of the unit to the hand-held control system. I, personally, did not have much of a problem with this, but some folks just don't like any kind of a cord to contend with.

This toy takes 3 C batteries. I have used the same batteries in this toy for over a year now (with pretty frequent use). However, it must be noted that I very rarely turn on the shaft portion of this toy. Still, that's a pretty good track record for battery use!

This toy is fairly quiet. If the shaft portion is on, it can most definitely be heard in the same room, and can most probably be heard through a closed door, or if someone were listening outside. If you have a nosy person in the house, then I would either be prepared to explain the noise, OR simply turn up your radio or television. This toy is not a jack-hammer, but it isn't super-duper quiet, either.

If only the clitoral portion of this toy is used, then it is VERY quiet. I would venture to say it can barely be heard if you are using it under the covers.

This toy LOOKS like what it is; a SEX TOY...and it screams, "HEY!! I AM A SEX TOY!!" So, if you live with other folks you don't want seeing it, then put it away somewhere safe. I would also say that if you decide to travel with the CRP, then you'd better be prepared that if security searches your luggage, there's gonna be some break-room banter about your toy!

Remember, this is the sex toy that basically started dual vibes; so it is pretty well known!

Care and Maintenance

This vibe is NOT water-friendly. Cleaning requires care to not get the battery pack wet in any way. Ideal ways to clean would be: wipe down with a toy wipe; use a damp washcloth w/w-o antibacterial soap (if you do use soap, please make sure to wipe the toy down again with a water-only wet cloth a few times), or wipe with a toy cleaner.

Since this toy has no silicone material in it, good choices for lubricants would be water-based lube, or silicone-based lube. This toy IS quite porous, so remember that when choosing a lubricant.

For storage, there are no special instructions. However, it *would* be good to remember that this IS a non-discreet toy, and store according to any privacy issues you have. I simply store my Classic Rabbit Pearl in a wooden 'toy box' I purchased from TJ Maxx. You may want to put the toy in it's own storage pouch (which you will have to provide yourself), if you are storing it with other toys.

Packaging

Keeping in mind this is not a luxury toy, the packaging is very much disposable. The CRP came in a simple cardboard box, with minimal to NO instructions. The Rabbit itself was in a sealed plastic bag. After opening the package, I simply threw the package and plastic bag away as there isn't any reason to keep it. After all, there really are NO instructions to speak of, and the box really isn't what one would call "storage friendly" (like a nice storage box for a luxury toy).

It would be great to see some instruction for batteries, care, and cleaning, but there are none. Perhaps that could be something corrected in the future.

Personal comments

I really like this vibe for it's price category. It really does "get the job done". However, the whole vibe itself, and the control/battery pack feel a little on the cheap side to me. I guess for the price point this toy is at, I cannot demand the 'feel' of a luxury toy.

For the price of this toy, I would say that most would feel like they are at least getting their money's worth from it.

Experience

I have used this toy over (and over) again! I really do like this toy for it's intended purpose. I have used the CRP solo, and with my husband. I do like the fact that HE can easily control this vibe while I enjoy it!

I have gotten much use from this toy; much pleasure, and MANY good orgasms! I really don't have many complaints except for the lack of instructions.

The one thing I would mention is that the control unit, which also houses the batteries, feels very fragile to me. Luckily, I have not yet had to change the batteries, so I haven't needed to open it. However, it does feel as if it could break quite easily if great care is not taken.

C battery's? Thanks for the review but I may pass on this one. It is good to know it works though, rabbits are generally amazing!

Great review. Those who would prefer a better material in the same type of toy could purchase the Vibratex Rabbit Pearl. It is made of elastomer (a seven on Eden's safety scale) instead of jelly. Other than that, it has the same shape and control box.
