Japanese Bondage

Contributor: m.l.miller m.l.miller
My partner and I have tried out western style bondage and both enjoyed it. She is wanting to continue the exploration, as am I. I recently showed her japanese style bondage and she is interested. I was wondering where I may find information on techniques, material, and basics to this style of bondage? Have any of you ever tried this style? If so, what was the outcome of your experiance, was it enjoyable or not? Thank you very much for any information you can give!

I have no personal experience, but Eden carries a book on it: Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage. We also carry Japanese bondage ropes: link and link. I hope that gives you a starting point.

I'm not sure if any of the books by the Two Knotty Boys or their instructional videos on youtube have any information on Japanese rope bondage, but it's worth a shot to search!

Yes I have recently discovered two knotty boys, they are a very helpful source! They have both beginner and advanced techniques. I will look into the books also. thank you both! Its unfortunate that Eden doesnt carry longer rope. For most of the advance techniques you need 40 to 50 ft of rope.

Completely second Lady Evyl's recommendation. Gorgeous book and extremely helpful.

The Japanese style you are looking for is called "Shibari". Typing that into Google will give you a lot of help.
