I think, in a way, our "play" with this kind of talk is Healing. We both know when it's used in an affectionate or sexual way, or a playful way, and it helps defuse the abuse from our pasts.
It's amazing how many variations of "Rough Sex" are actually therapeutic! But, I think you need to be ready for it, we could never have done some of this stuff, say even 10 years ago, because it was too close and too soon. We both had to grow before we could ease into some of this stuff. less

P'Gell -- you're so right on with that! My husband and I were talking about this exact thing over the past few months. Sex is becoming my therapy in getting over so many things that happened to me as a kid (sexual, physical and emotional). For me it is my way of finally taking control of that aspect of my life and claiming it.
