Well I used to think I was a switch. But I was talking to a friend the other day and we were discussing my dominance and he said you're a switch? Really? Like he gets to tie you up and do whatever wants soemtimes? And I thought aout it and said - well no, I guess I'm a Top - when I say I switch I mean i let him throw me around the bed soemtimes.

It also made me realize that for myself my tastes are pretty vanilla - but as a Dominant I'm pretty kinky. Does that make any sense?

I am lucky that my sweets and I naturally switch each other--it allows us to have very versatile play.

I was kind of surprised that (at the time of my post here) 54% of people responding were Switches. For some reason (mainly my own experience, I guess) I thought this stuff was hard wired one way or the other. Or that people sought out their "opposite." I guess not. I have more to learn. I just can't see My Man and I switching. Everybody has their thing.

My only wish was for My Man to really be a little more Dominant. He IS, in real life and in bed, but is a bit fearful of hurting me, and the heavy duty stuff (restraints etc) don't get used as often as I would like.

I am submissive both inside and outside the bedroom. Hubs would never let me boss Him around, and I would not like it anyway.

I answered the pole "Submissive" cause that is how I am with Daddy 100% of the time. However, if another girl came into the picture I would definitely be the top. So I guess that makes me like... 1% switch hehe.

I experimented with switching years ago and found that while I may have a dominant personality, I am very uncomfortable being dominant in bed. Over the years I've also discovered how truly submissive I am when it comes to a relationship with my significant other. It's developed to a much deeper level of submission than I thought possible.

I'm definitely a submissive in terms of my behavior with my primary. I always want to be submissive to my primary partner and my girlfriend definitely is dominant. I enjoy dominating other submissives with her, but I consider myself a sub.

Yeah, I can start it out.. but I'm naturally submissive. Even outside the bedroom.

I spent so many years being a bully at school and people fearing me cause I was so tall... and was a tomboy.. but I'm really a kitten on the inside.

Sub, I'm a total pet with K. But if it was a different relationship it may be different, with my first we tended to switch, with others I may take the lead. It depends on the guy.

In life I'm assertive and dominant. Behind closed doors I'm beginning to understand why O never left Rene, or Sir Stephen.

I checked switch, but I find that I'm not comfortable/interested in switching within a relationship. With some people I play as more dominant, and with others more submissive, but that feeling is pretty consistent for the duration of the relationship.

It definitely depends on the mood, but we are generally switches. One of us will be the dom until the other can break out of the restraints. Then it gets a lot more fun

Though we switch from time to time I'm primarily the dominate one so voted as such. There's nights I wish I could be submissive but hubby doesn't often let me. I think as I push boundaries exploring more of what we both like that may change. There's some acts hubby willingly does that he has the dominate role in and I'm working on getting him more into things.
