Congratulations to Sam!!! Since she came to EdenFantasys less than 2 years ago, Sam has written some wonderful, funny, and witty reviews on a variety of items in just about every category Eden has to offer. She’s done some fantastic video reviews as well! She’s just the 4th reviewer to hit the 300 review milestone - an awesome achievement!
I had the chance to ask Sam some questions now that she’s joined the 300 club, and here’s what she had to say:
What's your favorite toy or toys that you've reviewed so far? I have a really hard time picking a favorite toy. I absolutely love my heart wedge, and we use it as a prop to lay against in bed while reading and since it's out and about already, it gets used for sex more than our regular wedge. My bullets galore kit is also something that gets used a lot, or at least used to. I've been using MiMi a lot more recently during sex. And the Shunga massage oils. I use them more for out of the shower moisturizing than for massaging, but I want every single one of them, lol.
What has been your least favorite? Least favorite is another tough one. I try to research before I buy anything, so most of my duds have been assignments that I thought were pretty cool until I got them. I've had a few lingerie sets be quite disappointing as well.
Have your interests changed since you started? When I first started reviewing in general, I was interested in a lot of toys and lingerie. By the time I hit 200 reviews my focus had shifted more towards lingerie and sensual products, and reaching 300 they haven't changed much. I don't buy nearly as many toys as I used to since I feel bad that I don't have the time to use all of them. I also got tired of going for something that I hadn't used in a while only to have it not work, so in the last 6 months I've started investing in the higher end toys. I'm really into storage stuff at the moment, trying to find a place to store our more kinky things that just don't work in a drawer. And things that I can use with my husband. I'd love to get more candles too, I've got quite a collection of JimmyJane candles going right now.
Which video has been the most fun to make? I think my favorite video to make so far has been the one for my over the door swing. It was different than all of the other videos I've made, more hands on I guess you could say, and I personally think it's one of my best. It was the most fun because it gave me a chance to show off the product and play around at the same time.
What words of wisdom do you have for new reviewers? Words of wisdom for new reviewers, hmm. There's a whole lot I could try to say to newer reviewers, but I'll try to keep it relatively short. Be as thorough as you can without being repetitive or too long. If somebody offers advice on things you might have left out, listen to them, and go ahead and get a mentor if you want to come out of the gate with the best review you can. Be active on the forums, and have fun doing everything. The reviews are there to help people pick products, not to make you popular. Being a good person and participating in things on the forum and interacting with other people on the site is what makes you popular. Don't forget the having fun part!
