I have been making an effort to be a part of the Porn Club here on Eden. It's fun and you get to talk about porn and talk to new faces you didn't know in the community. I have been waiting to see a post for the month meeting in the blue box on the forum main page and have yet to see it or see it coming up.

Has Porn Club gone bye-bye?
Is it skipping June? I looked in August and didn't see a Porn Club meeting scheduled.

Say, I should address the fact that I have learned Eden Fantasys IS phasing out their erotica book section. One of the books that I did a review on called, Girls on Top has been discontinued.

Moreover, whatever erotica books which EF does have in stock, WILL NOT be replaced or restocked. I just discovered that the book called Fast Girls IS now out of stock, but no mention of being discontinued.

I am very disappointed in learning of these latest developments. less

EF is/was competing with firmly established online and brick & mortar book retailers. The profit margins in publishing are so thin, and the current trend is towards e-readers (especially for erotica), so it doesn't make sense for EF to invest money in stock and dedicate warehouse space, for what would amount to less than 1% market share.

At the moment we do not have any further Porn Club meetings scheduled. We are unsure about restarting after the summer as attendance and participation have dropped so drastically. We love the club too and it's a tough call to make.

As for any rumors that may be floating around about the erotica and video sections. Until an official announcement has been made by a staff member, nothing is certain. Products are discontinued all of the time, and once we run out of our stock we update our product list. Some products take longer to restock than others. In any case, if you would like an official answer about any products being discontinued, Maxim is the person to ask. less
