A nice leafy green salad would go down a treat as a first course. Oh and a nice bottle of wine, something that would go well with pasta...light some candles and get some catnip for the kids. I've found a bit of sweetness for everyone eases the date night feel.

LOL Anyhow you seem to have it all under control. Oooooh I'm all excited for you!

I think it's part of human nature - we get excited for things that are new and then as time goes by and life interferes and determines where attention needs to be focused, I kind of have to say to myself that maybe it's not the best idea for the community and I go back to the drawing board and try to think of something new.

A lot of the ideas we have do require a healthy amount of participation from the community to make them work.

I think my heart sank a little bit when I asked the community what kinds of events and clubs they wanted to get off the ground in last month's community planning thread and there weren't a lot of replies. I'm always looking forward to ways of changing that, though.

Thanks for the nice giveaway. I found your site entering giveaways. I have been following you for a while. I have never posted before. So I am new to this area. It is nice to know you can ask questions etc. Thanks for the information.

Another question for all 3 of you:

What are the top things (1-3, let's say) you'd like all NEW members to know about Eden?

What are the top things (1-3 again) you'd like all LONG-TIME members to know about Eden?

The kids have actually never found my stash, thankfully. The dogs though...I think the first toy they got their teeth on was this adorable jacking-off Santa windup toy I got from a rumble. They didn't maul it too bad, but it must have looked tasty . The second one that was fun to amuse them with was this "Screaming Die" that I reviewed. To get it to actually light and scream, I had to throw it as hard as I could into the floor, and they were both set to play with it. I had to really watch them, though, as it was awfully small and I thought they'd gulp it down without chewing it first

I only work part-time, so I'm on at nights and at least Sunday on the weekends.

I don't read as many, and I definitely don't write as many reviews as I used to, for sure. It's more that life's caught up with me the past year or so, and I don't have the time like I used to to write any, although I review a lot of porn.

I think both my opinion and style has changed. I enjoy writing them on my blog a lot, and I prefer the standard format much more than the extended one. I also like reading reviews that give me more personal information on use than just dry facts and are enjoyable to read, and are not novels in the making .

It can be discouraging. With programs, I know and understand that some start out strong and wane over time, but I always hope that interest and participation is high for new ones, especially those that many seem to want

Hmmm - that's a tough one.

For new members,
1. There's a lot to do here. Take your time and look around.

For long-time members,
1. Remember that you were new to the site once, too.

For both,
2. We're here to help - don't be afraid to ask questions.
3. Have fun!

Yeah, I hate to piggy back but that's pretty much my view. Reviewing is supposed to be fun, it shouldn't be something that causes stress and anxiety. If it starts to become a chore, take a break. We'll still be here when you get back.

A question for each of you:

Matches, pocket knife, or favorite sex toy. Which do you take if you were stranded alone on an island and why?

I think the knife would be of most benefit. I'd hope that I could use it to make items I'd need (providing, of course, there were some sort of trees on the island) for possibly fishing, hunting, or even crafting a raft. Of course, if the island I was stranded on was a complete paradise where I wouldn't need such things, I'd opt for the sex toy .

JR, glad to hear the dating game is working in your favor!

Sammi, love your pups. Your black Lab looks just like my Zoe when she was younger.

Stormy, do you know how much I love and appreciate all your help?

My standard questions for all.

Dream car/truck/motorcycle? Assuming money is not a factor.

Design your own sex toy, what are the functions, material and shape.

And since this is a staff Spotlight, what is the easiest part of your job and the hardest.

You're so sweet. It's my pleasure!

Dream car? Eh, I don't drive so that's not really on my radar. Hubby wants an H-D Fat Boy, which I'm down with. For some reason I feel more control on the back of the bike than in a car, but that's exactly the opposite of how I should logically be thinking.

Mine is simple - an 8.5" circumference, single density silicone dildo with no veins or really pronounced ridges. Just nice and smooth.

The easiest part? Socializing with all of you. The hardest part is staying ahead of the game. Always have to be on top of new trends, new products, and new ideas to add fun things to the forum and site in general.

I'd like to have a solid hybrid pickup style with an extended cab. I don't want some big gas guzzler, just something that can get me from here to there with little environmental impact...and my dad works in the oil fields!

Ideal toy: the one I one from Xhale a couple years ago, but with vibrations! It'd be great to have a vibrating glass toy w/o a bullet on the side.

The easiest part of my job: the commute.
The hardest part: trying to explain something to a contributor who just doesn't get it. But that's the same thing wherever you go, no matter your job.

Inquiring mind want to know!
For all three of you:
1. What is your favorite color?
2. Do you have eyes? What color are they?
3. If you have time to read, what was the last really great book you read?
4. When dealing with pests do you prefer baths, powder or drops prescribed by the vet?

Now the personal questions!

Stormy: Are you still searching for a house? Have you seen any good ones? I know you want a garden but what about the floors? Are we thinking carpet or wood? Will you be using that extra bedroom as a dungeon? (Inquiring minds and all that!)

JR: How are you feeling? I know diverticulitis is a bitch to get over. How did the date go? In five years where do you envision yourself being?

Sammi: What is the best thing about being a Mom? I ask because my two year old is just starting to verbalize while playing and I can sitting here listening to him rearrange my pots and pans. I think they are on the highway and they are driving at very high speed. I LOVE listening to their minds work while they play!

Oooooh fun!

1. My favorite color is any shade of purple. There's just something about it that makes me really happy. But, I also like silver, black, and really dark greens.

2. Lately, my eyes have been a light shade of green due to the makeup I wear, but they're usually some version of blue depending on what I'm wearing that day.

3. I haven't read anything in a really long time, but I just picked up an Android phone, so I plan on getting some reading in here and there. I think the last really good book I read had something to do with breaking a code in some government conspiracy. Can I be more vague?

4. Bombs. Really big, loud bombs. I'm being silly. I believe in preventative maintenance and a few drops go along way when it comes to protecting animals, especially in the South. I've found flea dips just make everyone involved very miserable while rarely addressing the problem.

We've decided to put the house thing on hold. I think everyone wants to do as little yard work as humanly possible for the next couple of years, so we're going to stick where we are and just upgrade to a different unit in the very near future. But, before we do that? We're upgrading the television!

And Mrs. Airen, you have a birthday coming up - any special plans?

1. No real preference. I tend to date people with brown eyes...just a thing.
2. Yes, I do have eyes. TWO of them! They're usually blue, the change to green every once in a while.
3. I read a lot, usually have a book I'm reading. Right now it's "Pets in a Pickle", a book of short stories from a UK vet. It was a free book for Nook on a Friday. I have one downloading tomorrow. I don't remember the name of it right now, but it's in the "Rot and Ruin" series. Yes, zombies. I like to read about zombies. Permuted press has a few good books out in that genre.
4. Usually bombs and a Dip...um...dipping.

I'm ok, thanks for asking. It's pretty much gone now...too bad the bills arent'. The date went well. She loved my cooking . We didn't get dessert in though. We opted for drinking and RB3.

Five years? No clue. School is in my future, but all the details elude me.

Aw, thank you!

Let's see - dream car would totally be a 1974 Lambourghini Countach. In bright, bright yellow.

Sex toy - I suppose I'd go with somewhat of a rabbit shape, with a clit stim as powerful as the Hitachi. The shaft that powerful as well. Pulse patterns in the shaft, steady external, thick, and made of smooth lime green silicone

The easiest part is probably working with the community and handling questions and problems. The hardest part sometimes is trying to troubleshoot some of the problems that arise.

This is mostly for JR- How do you decide what to assign YOURSELF? Do you ever go "I deserve a push assignment, too!" or are you more humble? Are you ever like "PSSST! Gary! You know that cool thing that needs a DR?" *wiggles eyebrows*

Just a silly question.
