Depends on what you are looking for in a toy one company can be completely amazing for on an not the other. I have one Doc Johnson toy that I am not a huge fan of since it failed in what it was suppose to do. I may buy more of their products in the future though.

It's hard to say yay on a brand across the board. I would look for products that have the specific features you are looking for (such as silicone, rechargeable, etc.)

and then read the reviews about the specific product

Doc Johnson tends to be good quality as long as the material is good, ie silicone. Definitely stay away from jelly, no matter the brand.
