i think that cheating and all the rest of those reasons all stem from losing a connection. I say people break up because they put no thought into getting together in the first place. it isnt always the case but i know way too many couples that are together because thats what you do. They are taught that it is not possible to be happy unless you are married and have children and your own home. Love? you can always fool yourself into thinking its there when its not.

I couldn't say, because I've never broken up with anyone. My husband is the only person I've ever dated, and we've never even temporarily split.

I have left two relationships due to cheating. One due to emotional problems, in which it was not explained to me. Maybe the third one was one of those "it's not you, it's me" things.
