When I look at paddles on EF, I like the look of the Tantus ones the best.

And when I compare the four Tantus paddles, I lean towards the Pelt paddle. I prefer the look of the rounded end. And my brain thinks that the rounded edges would be a bit more forgiving than the straight and square edges.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I've yet to be paddled.

But which do you own, or would you choose, and why?

The Thwack has the most appealing shape for me.

Well - they are all out of stock except for the Snap Strap. Aside from that, you should go with your instincts. For what it's worth, we have a leather slapper link paddle and like it a lot, sadly I don't think EF carries it anymore.

I had the Snap Strap Paddle, but I like the look of the Pelt Paddle much better.

I read on someone's blog recently that the Thwack is the thuddiest, and that even the Pelt is stingy in comparison. I have a nice crop for stingy, so I'd go with the Thwack.

I love the look of the Pelt Paddle, but it was out of stock when I was ordering, so I got the Wham Bam paddle instead. It arrived today. It is very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

Thwack Paddle has the most appealing shape, and looks like it would hold up the best over an extended period of time.
