I started once my partner and I were together roughly 6 months in. We were friends for years before dating, so early on in our relationship, he shared that anal was a fantasy of his (and he was pleasantly surprised-- moreso pleasantly shocked-- when I said I would try it). I have been interested in having anal sex with women since I was 12 or 13 and when I first got really sexual with a girlfriend at 19, one of the first things I did was stick my finger up her ass during car-sex. Now if I start to date someone, I usually start anal play pretty quickly - I've never had a woman say NO to my tongue, and its a good indicator if they are open to more 'kinkier' sex. I've only had anal sex with partners I've been in LTR with as really feel that with anal or sex in general that trust is an important factor.
