I've had an 'accident' during regular sex that turned me off anal sex for a while... The Husband jammed me right up the ass, one lucky straight shot while we were in doggie. I couldn't sit down for DAYS.

I haven't yet. But that's the thing about sex, you have to be prepared for things to happen when you're actively arousing areas that are also for other bodily activities. If you're fingering someone's anus and happen to get some residue on your finger, it really shouldn't be alarming.

A key thing is to listen to your partner and also be sure to let them know they absolutely should speak up if something seems wrong.

It also definitely never hurts to give each other some prep time!
