I've been on both sides of oral sex with both men and women and I can easily say that it takes wayyyyy more effort going down on a woman (it's so tiring!) than it is to go down on a man. I can go down on a guy for what seems like forever. After like 10 minutes with a girl, my jaw is killing me.

This has never been a problem - I actually prefer longer oral sex sessions than my wife does. But I can sympathize with your partner. When going down on my wife in the traditional way - I got a terribly sore neck.

How long is very long? Are we talking 15 minutes or a full hour? I've never been asked to go for an hour, usually she gets off in about 5-10 minutes or it is not happening at all.

I know my partner ha said a few times their jew hurt or was cramping up while performing oral on me, but i can't think of a time i've ever performed oral on them without that happening.
Usually if my jaw starts to tighten i'll take a little break and use my hands instead until i'm ready again. It sucks sometimes because oral is a big part of our sex life and a way for us to warm up before actually having penetrative sex, and i do really enjoy teasing/pleasing my partner in this manner, but boy-oh-boy can it hurt sometimes.

I can see why performing oral on a girl is trickier. You're down between the thighs with less room. And you're potentially buried nose deep in the crotch, not to mention trying to get to the internal bits with your tongue...
