Miracle fruit and oral sex

Contributor: Vaccinium Vaccinium
Obviously, there are a large number of people who do not care for the taste of their partners' semen or vaginal secretions, which can be a shame because it can limit the amount of pleasure they choose to give their partner. What if there was a product that would change that taste? I propose that there may be.

There is a fruit called miracle fruit that is renowned for its ability to change the taste of anything sour to something tremendously sweet (you could suck on a lemon and it would taste like sugar). It is also supposed to help people who have metallic tastes in their mouths that results from chemotherapy. It occurred to me that eating this fruit might change the taste of semen and vaginal secretions into something more pleasant. I've never seen the fresh fruit for sale, although I have seen the plant, but it is sold in pill form.

Anyone ever do this or hear of this done? It might be a neat experiment, if nothing else.

I haven't heard of this but I know just general diet can have an effect. Eating a lot of meat generally does not do great things for taste, particularly red meats. I've also heard that cigarettes have a negative impact. Asparagus does as well.

However, eating pineapple can do great things.

I'm sure if you search the forums you can find a number of great ideas if you are interested in changing tastes.
Perhaps even trying one thing at a time for a week or so, cutting out the bad and making it a point to eat one of the foods or supplements to make it taste better every day and then seeing what your partner likes best might be a fun experiment too.

I've heard of miracle fruit and I hope it works for those undergoing chemo - but I love the taste of my lady and she has no problem with how taste - so there is no need in our home.

Haha! What a creative application of miracle fruit!

I've tried it before in college, we had a "miracle fruit party". It did make everything taste sweeter, but to be honest I think I'd be a little freaked out if genitalia didn't taste like I naturally expect it to. (I also don't really like sweet tastes) It's like perfuming your vagina, which I've also never understood. There's something carnal about our natural flavors that I kind of like.

However, this definitely sounds like an interesting experiment...I'm gonna put it on my mental back burner.

Haha, I've never heard of this! It's certainly interesting, but I agree with Epicurean that I would feel a bit weird using it for that purpose.

This definitely sounds like something I'd have to try at least once, if for no other reason than to try and suck on a lemon or something, lol.

I would love to try this fruit - I've seen it online in articles and on United States of Tara, but never in the grocery store.

Why not use it for oral sex? Sounds interesting to me.

I've never heard of this. I think it would be fun to try it, after all, if you don't like it you don't have to eat it again. Very interesting.

That is its common name. The scientific name is Synsepalum dulcificum.

It looks like an elongated cherry, but I've never seen the fruits for sale. Instead, they are dried, crushed, and put into pill form. You can buy seeds and live plants from various places, so you could potentially have the fresh fruit, if so desired.

I've actually got some credit at a store that uses a point system somewhat like EF, and I'm thinking of getting some of the pills since they'll be free for me (they aren't the cheapest things out there). I'll be happy to test out whether vaginal secretions taste any different, although I find my wife to be sweet and pleasant anyway. However, she steadfastly refuses to be the guinea pig in this experiment from the standpoint of testing it with semen, which she loathes.

I've tried Miracle Fruit pills! Not for oral sex but I did taste myself out of curiousity and it tasted the same. It only makes sour or bitter things taste sweet, and since my vagina isn't sour or bitter it didn't do anything. My partner used to have bitter semen and it probably would have worked then, but recently he's just been tasting salty and I know it wouldn't make any difference so I haven't bothered trying it with him. It's really fun to try with different foods though.
