No. But if your worried, do kegel exercises. Like any other muscle, you can keep your pelvic floor muscles strong and firm.

You know how if you smile or pull on the side of your mouth your mouth stretches but when you let go it instantly goes back to its original size? The vagina works the same way, maybe it takes longer like a few hours to revert.

I agree with the people saying to do kegels. I do not possess a vagina but I hear they give women better orgasms and more pleasure for the guy (I've never been on the receiving end of this either, dang what the hell) I do kegels and I think they've improved my sexual health.

ah that depends ... if the guy has a very girthy member (or if you're using a very girthy toy), then you kinda adjust to that size.

90% of the time i have sex with the same guy, but once in a while i have sex with a different guy and i definitely feel the difference.

also i do have a few toys that are quite substantial in girth, and it takes at least a week or so to shrink back down after using one of them.

lol so i guess my answer is "yes" and that i disagree with several of the posts above me

I remember reading an interview with a porn actress, she was saying that they can't work every day because their lady bits need rest to shrink back.

A forum search on the topic would have yielded you some more opinions. I will leave some of the links here in case you want to check them out.

It may not be so much that you need to "shrink back down" as it is that your body just becomes more capable of making the stretch easily, so something smaller would be even easier, creating a nerve illusion of being looser. Giving yourself a rest would result in your body having to re-adjust the next time the larger girth came into play.

It's a possibility anyway. I believe the main question on this thread is whether or not a giving stretch is permanent, a fear many women have. The answer to that is a definitive "no."

No, you don't get looser from having too much sex, but your body does get better at making the stretch - this is probably what most folks mistake for being "loose." Any looseness would be very temporary (the looseness from childbirth is probably about the only thing that would last a notable amount of time).

When in doubt, do kegels!

Sorry for off-topic, but maybe it's interesting:

I know that there is a relation between woman who orgasm regularly have less incontinentia problems. But I don't know what is the cause and what is the effect.

If the orgasm was the effect, it would be great, because it would mean that having an orgasm strengthens your pelvic muscles.

Well, all the muscles in that area contract upon orgasm, so I'd wager that the orgasm is the cause, and reduced risk of incontinence is the effect. It's probably similar to how kegel exercises can help with incontinence.

Vaginas are kind of awesome because they can stretch to a great size and not tear and then retain its "normal" size. anyone who believes in the "loose woman" myth is ill-informed. But like any muscle, it will start to loose elasticity over time, but kegel exercises will for sure help with that.

No your cooterbird is going to stretch and receive whatever your putting it it, then it springs back and no one will know that you' have just been getting your hole reamed and stretched to its limits

Ladies with all due respect don't be so sure. Comfortably wrap your fingers from one hand around your index finger. Make the classic in and out motion and notice how it feels. Repeat the motion but tighten and loosen your grip a little noticing the difference in feelings.

I think the difference like this is pretty insignificant and probably less of a factor than lubrication. However if you do the same exercise again only this time change the angle of your index finger the difference is much more noticeable to the index finger and not so much to your other hand. Most men who have been with a woman over a long period of time can tell a difference.

Also please quit using the if a baby can fit through argument. I don't think there is anyone who would say that it doesn't take the average vagina a significant amount of time to recover from such a traumatic experience.

Lastly please don't make the assumption that tighter is always better.

It saddens me when I hear guys talking about a woman being loose because in all the articles I've read (and personal experience), a vagina becomes more relaxed and accepting of penis or toys when fully aroused (link)
