Does the "easter bunny" bring your children money?

Contributor: LavenderSkies LavenderSkies
I was shocked when I heard a friend say that she gives her children money on easter. When I was growing up, the easter bunny brought us candy and toys! How about your home?

Pure gold or hyper bunny?
What do you guys think I should get? They both seem really cool and have pretty good reviews too. I don't want anything too thick. Also, doesn't...

Ultimate decadent bunny
Just bought it. I'm a little afraid because its my first rabbit and I'm hoping its relatively top notch. Anybody had a chance to play with this one?

Did the Easter Bunny visit you today?
Anybody get Easter baskets?

Bunny vibes with Rotation
How do you feel about the rotation feature on many toys, specifically rabbit vibes? I feel it is more uncomfortable than it is arousing.

The easter bunny always brought candy and toys in my house as well. I think the money thing is pretty weird, it takes away the excitement!

We usually do the boiled eggs with the egg hunt. We don't do plastic easter eggs. I think it might be fun to do though this year. Kids are getting older, might be nice for some surprises

I think that a couple of pennies or something would be ok. but I wouldn't go putting in dollar bills lol.

My husband and I are pagan so we don't do the Easter Bunny or Santa thing at home with our son but he does get an Easter basket at Grandma and Papa's house and the eggs they hide are filled with candy and money.

I always thought the Easter Bunny was just a strange mascot; I wasn't aware that it was supposed to be a magical Santa-Claus-type character, that showed up and left things for children.

My parents always gave me chocolate eggs at Easter, and that was as far as the day went.

Ours get an Easter basket with a small toy or two, and then we hide plastic eggs all over the house filled with jelly beans. We have to put them up, and in plastic eggs, so the dogs don't have a hunt before the kids do

Toward my later teenage years we always had an easter egg hunt as a tradition and my parents filled the eggs with quarters instead of candy as a bribe to get us to participate.

The Easter bunny used to leave us empty baskets with a note saying that while hopping in our stuff fell out of the basket and he was in such a hurry he didn't have time to find it all so it was up to us to find it. We would find it all scattered around out in the yard. Never was there any money though. It was always toys, candy, and cookies.

Bunny brings my younger cousins a few dollars here and there in plastic eggs. They get way too much candy as it is and they are learning to save up now anyways.

When I was little, my mom and dad only gave us money once for easter. But I doubt that we will ever give our kids money on easter. Like I read before, it takes it away.

i always got a basket, a note saying to look in my drawer, where i would find a easter egg, then that would start the hunt for the eggs, then i would find coins, candy, books, toys and whatnot laying around the house for me to find.
