Crazy things people do

When I worked in retail I had this group of hispanic folk (ages 19-40) who were bitching about the clothes, the place, us, and just about everything in spanish. I understood everything (and am also hispanic) they were saying and acted polite even as they smiled at me and complained.

Then when one started complaining about a shirt and the colors, I told her we had more in the back. The face on them all when they realized I understood them was priceless. less

My old department manager once told me about a couple who came in while the fish tanks were being cleaned. She (my manager) cautioned them about the wet floor, and the guy apparently proceeded to "slip" and make a huge ruckus while his girlfriend just looked at him like he was a moron. less

Sooo I was at Walmart earlier, trying to exchange some curtains that I ordered offline and were... fur covered when I got them (not real fur but they were 'fuzzy'). So I'm standing at the service desk, and this Mexican/Hispanic man is in front of me having some type of money form submitted. The registrar was about to input the numbers when this Mexican/Hispanic lady walks up and the guy sees her and dips out. Like, this dude sped walked soundless away from the desk a.s.a.p.

The registrar looks up and he's gone, she asks where he went, I shrug and the lady that walked up turns and says it was her boyfriend and so the registrar hands her the form, the lady starts reading it then flips out and dashes off after the guy after handing the form back.

Turned out he went to Walmart with his girlfriend and while she was doing whatever she was going to do, he was trying to send money to another woman. ._.

So, what are some crazy things you guys have witnessed while out shopping for whatever? I've seen some pretty intense shit go down in the middle of public that either has me laughing or just wondering "what the hell". less

I actually knew quite a few of the migrants from my lil "bumpkin town" where I grew up. They would tell me that they had wives/lives and families down in Mexico or other states that they would rake in the cash up here, and send back home. What a lot of the women up HERE didn't realize is that they were leading double lives. lol. If you think about it, this guy isn't too bright bringing his "Other woman" with him to the store to send money out haha. This guy should have been on one of those "Dumbest criminals" shows. less
