I have never really been too big on the whole "glass scene" or metal or anything that doesn't really feel natural. I'm one of those silly girls that actually has to have it feel like there is something real inside of me lol.

So, glass hasn't really been on my list of things to get. However, the other day I was bored and up late, and I came across an interesting looking glass toy. I checked it out, seen a video on it and thought "My god, I NEED That!" lol. Not to use per se, but just because of how cool it looked!

Then, I caught myself checking out more, and more and looking up more glass toys. Pretty soon, it had been an hour and a half, it was 3am and I had gone through umpteen different pages of glass dildos and made a wishlist for just the ones I thought "looked" cool lol.

So here I sit, desperately wanting to get some of these (not to mention a few of them have super awesome pouches that come with them LOL) and I'm wondering to myself-Am I the only nut that feels the need to have a "Glass toy collection" just to collect them, not so much use them? Im thinking probably lol. But the glass toys have such an awesome artistic form and beautiful designs to them. If they weren't "toy shaped" id almost be tempted to get a huge display case and have them up like some folks have porcelain dolls LMAO! Though, I doubt my ex husband would be thrilled to know my 11 year old son and my 9 year old daughter were staring at glass dildos on the weekends LMAO! SO, for now, I think I'll just get a really big tote to store them in as I start collecting them. Then, maybe one of these days, I'll try to sell off my massive collection or hell, I might even start to become partial to them and might use one or two! haha

Anyone else collect certain types of toys? (For collection purposes, not for "intended use" so much) less

Same! I actually got a couple of glass toys knowing they would never EVER fit inside of me and/or were not right for my anatomy, but they were so beautiful, I couldn't say no!

So, I've done that too.

I will admit to being a hoarder in the making, so "collecting" is no new thing to me, and I have to frequently have my partner go over our stuff with me and decide if I'm keeping it because I like/need it, or am hoarding it lol. So far, no toys have gotten the boot! less

Well I never get anything without planning on trying it at least once but I do have one on my wishlist I was considering getting based solely on the aesthetic appeal.
Depending on the style of the packaging it may or may not get opened (as in, if it can't be sealed up like new again once I've tried it out and cleaned it I might not even open it up). less
