Thanks Jul!a, I'll have to check it out! Anything has to be better than the measly week and a half the drugstore brand is lasting!
No problem! Let me know how it works for you.

I love having bright colored hair, I have had almost every color except for pink and green, its been blue, blond, red, purple, magenta, orange, strawberry blond, russet, black and teal. Unfortunately I have been having allergy troubles lately which have prevented me from dyeing my hair recently... my natural hair color was rediscovered in July after almost eight years of being hidden

I miss the blue it was my favorite

I haven't seen my natural hair color since I was 12. It started with blonde highlights then progressed to unnatural colors. I've had everything from blacks, auburns and burgundy shades to pink, blue, green, purple...the list goes on. When I get bored or when I'm not feeling so great about myself, my hair is usually one of the first things I change.

I've been dying my hair since I was 17. I usually go auburn (I'm naturally medium brown) but I change it up to something random now and then.

I dye my hair all the damn time. It's bad, honestly, because I really don't know what my natural hair color is anymore.

I have absolutely kick butt red hair that has about a dozen different natural shades that play though it, and I will never dye it while it stays this color. I love being a redhead and think the colour suits my personality. I've fantasized about dying it different colours, maybe when it goes grey I'll be one of those sassy grannies with all sorts of awesome hair colours and live out all my hair colour fantasy's

I think I want to dye mine with some fun streaks, I've got medium brown hair... however, I am applying for a job and I know that I wouldn't be considered with funky/fun hair

I've never dyed my hair & I won't until I start getting gray hair! I get a lot of compliments on the color of my hair as it is! (Its auburn)

I was really tempted to pick "I am dying it now as we speak", because I'm gonna do it in an hour or so

I recently fell in love with Feria Power Reds and I have to dye it about every three weeks or so. If I ever had my hair professionally dyed I think my partner would leave me over the bottom line. When you have hair down to your ass, salons really love to overcharge. If I ever wanted to go blonde I think we'd have to get a personal loan. It would be a three step process. Stripped, bleached, coloring.

I went a salon once for an estimate. She put me in the chair, ran her fingers through my hair, dissed my home dye job (shit, I can't see the back of my head, UNDER the rest of my hair) and said they would need to use "Two or 3 bottles, due to your length, thickness and gray areas." That would cost me over $100.00. (Not including "touch ups" which she said I would need every 3 weeks.) I politely said thank you, I'd think about it, then I went to Walgreens and bought an other box of Feria Bright Black.

I've dyed my hair for years and years, it's black at the moment and it's the most normal-looking I've been in a while. I make dreadlock extensions and I'm super anal about having my hair match the set I'm wearing when I have dreads in. Definitely a hair perfectionist and easily bored, gotta switch it up 3-4 times a year minimum.

I'm the same way with the quick boredom, lol. Currently trying to decide which hair color to go with next, stuck between pink and purple.

Since I have red hair naturally, and I love the shade, I have never dyed my hair nor do I Plan to.

My sister has red hair but hers was more orange-y and she didn't like it, so she ended up dying or tinting it, I suppose, to be a darker shade. She's had some hits and misses trying that out

My mom, on the other hand, was born with jet black hair and began first highlighting it awfully (like Zebra status) when I was a kid, and then went to full-on blonde and red as I grew up, and now is back to a dark chestnut color (dyed as well).

While I have not dyed my own hair, I've been dying my mom's since the age of 7 or 8!

I have friends with blonde or brunette hair who can add streaks of pink or green or blue, and it looks really cool. I've actually been a little envious of that, but I just don't think it'd look right with my hair. -le sigh-

It's a total racket. My cousin is in the business and her snarkiness and attitude regarding other people's styles and color choices irks the bejesus out of me. I personally think she looks like a two dollar hooker.

I was once told if I wanted to go blonde it would be almost impossible because my hair is considered black in the industry and I quickly countered with what about all of the beautiful Latina women I see with natural blue/black hair that went to a honey blonde or lighter. She floundered an answer and I never returned.

My hair is naturally a really dark brown, but I have dyed it red in the past. I just used a drugstore hair dying kit, since I was in high school/college and couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money.

At this point, it has been so long that the ends probably still have some color in them, and that's about it.

I dye my hair when I feel like splurging on hair care, but usually I skip it b/c it's just so expensive

As we speak I am dying my hair and I wondered if there was a poll talking about this. I go to lengths that it is actually 2:50 am and my hair won't finish processing for another 30ish minutes. I absolutely love dying my hair and my friends hair and I seem to be pretty good at it.

Oh, definitely! I start dying my hair when I was about 14 (I think), and it's basically been dyed since then, every colour of the rainbow (including a literal rainbow for a while...SO hard to maintain though!) as well as some natural ones. I have dreads now though, so I'm keeping them a natural-y red that I very occasionally touch up again.

I dyed my hair a few times. My hair is a darker brown and I dyed it a yellow blonde (or I guess I bleached it) for a costume. It came out great but after a few weeks my roots started growing back and I had to dye my hair back to it's original color two more times before it grew back out all the way. I don't plan on doing it again, it made my hair so dry and it takes a lot of effort to keep it looking good.

I dye my hair but it's always "natural" colors. I've never worked at a job where it would be acceptable to have wild colors.

I dye mine all the time and I go to different extremes. I have done black and I have done purple, pink, etc.

I like to dye my hair. It changes it up and makes life fun. I am a natural brunette. I have always wanted to go blonde but was told that it was hard for me to go blonde. So in middle school, I did the whole, I think it was called Sun In? Oh it stunk and I remember I would spray it religiously into my hair and then made sure I was outside for long periods of time. It worked so so. Then when I was 18 I did my hair black (which I LOVED) and tried to do red highlights that didnt work. But I got sick of my back hair and wanted to go back natural and because I dyed it black so many times, I damaged my hair and had to have it cut because the hairdresser couldnt strip it. I will never go back to black, even though I like it. As of recently i have gone a dark red, more like a wine/maroon color. I have been so lazy that I havent kept on it and I have pretty much cut it all out. but I have an itching to dye it again.
