Lambics are actually a wild fermented style. That means the ingredients are mixed together, boiled, and cooled, and instead of "pitching" or adding yeast, the brewers allow yeast naturally occurring in the air and everywhere on earth to settle in the wort (the "pre-beer")

Sometimes lambic-style beers are made with fruit, but it isn't necessary. I highly recommend trying a sour lambic brewed without fruit, too - they have an incredible flavor.

I like beer, wine (mostly red), spiced rum in mixed drinks and my favourite these days has been grand marnier on the rocks.

Belvedere Vodka Martini's with 3 olives and a side car, a large side car! I make the best ones, if Belvedere Vodka isn't carried at a restaurant I go to I get Grey Goose. Oh and strait up, No rocks!

Never ever however would I have Absolute Vodka.... Absolutely NOT!

I like wine, and mixed drinks from time to time. I'm partial to fruity, juice type mixers, because I don't really like the taste of alcohol either. I cannot drink most brown-colored liquors.

I mostly like vodka or rum (not spiced rum, but Appleton is one of the few dark rums I'll drink). Some of our recent favorite drinks to mix for fun are vodka with pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry juice. Iced tea and lemonade goes well with a white or flavored rum, like raspberry or citrus rum. Now I'm onto sweet tea vodka with cranberry juice and a splash of white soda.

Everything in moderation!

I don't enjoy getting drunk, but I do love good alcohol one in a while. What I drink depends on my mood, sometimes I fancy a well-made cocktail, but on a hot day I just want a cold beer.

Red wine that is sweeter tastes good. Some mixed drinks like Mai Tai, daiquiris, etc. are pretty good and I think you should try out some fun mixed drinks before you decide you don't like the taste. Plain liquor tastes bad but I don't think anyone drinks it for the taste anyway LOL...

As for the poll question, I love me some vodka!

I like alcohol too much, and I'm not really particlar whether it's a good Napa wine, a tawny port, or tequila. Everything I drink would be considered top-shelf, but in the end it's no different than anyone else who enjoy's alcohol too much. That said, I am trying to curtail my drinking. It would be great if I could quit.

I drink whiskey, and I like it. I will admit, the first drink is usually a little harsher than those that follow though. My advice is, if you find something you kind of like, for instance Captain Morgan Parrot bay, but the bite is to much, go for a higher shelved liquor. And for coconut rum, it's Malibu that is above Captain. The more expensive, the smoother it is. I'm weird though, I prefer the bite & burn of cheap whiskey over the smoothness of something like crown royal. Crown makes me gag lol, it's way to smooth.

I love beer and I'm developing my palate for wine (going to be a long haul...I'm just not that refined yet). Brandy is a kind of wine that's twice distilled and usually contains some kind of fruit or other flavoring to make it tasty, so that might be a good place to start. Personally, I hate the taste of alcohol in mixed drinks, since, combined with the sugar, it's just turns me off.

I don't like the taste of it either. I've honestly never really been drunk because of this. I can't stand to drink enough of it to get there. If I'm in a situation where I should order a drink, I'll get a rum & coke and just sip it. Usually can't even finish one.

It also sucks because I have frequent heartburn and drinking alcohol really makes it bad. Yuck
