First time writing a review

Contributor: Princess Zelda Princess Zelda
Ok so I did my first review on the classic bender. I had thought I had done really bad when I saw the polls come in. I had worked really hard on it and was disappointed with the results but come to find out for a first review I am told the polls are pretty good. This has boosted my feel about it and I wanted to know how others did and how others felt when they did their first review

Well, you have no "no usefuls at all" so you could've done worse.

There's a couple things to remember about EF. The community seems to gravitate toward certain types of reviews. Some people crave photos or prefer videos. There's a certain personal inclination that you can never quite guess at when writing reviews.

If you haven't check out the highly rated reviews for similar products. See what they included--and didn't. Look at their comments. Someone might ask about something that wasn't included that you wouldn't think to.

If you want to improve, consider the extended template. It helps make sure you get every little detail. Furthermore, you can join the mentor program to help improve your reviews. I even have an open spot right now.

Otherwise, just keep writing. you didn't do BAD, you just didn't write the best review ever.. but you know what? No one ever does. Period.

My first review had similar results, it's nothing to worry about. =^.^=
Just keep writing reviews and you'll get better and better. I find it's best to try and be almost over informative, to cover pretty much any question people might have.

I just read through your first review and it's pretty darn good. =3

I felt the same about my first review but i guess we can only learn how to do better and the point of the review is to let people know what you thought about the product and if you suggest trying it or not.

I'm thinking about doing reviews but I am very worried about doing poorly since writing is not my strong suit
