I've noticed that a lot of people have met their lovers online. It makes me feel less "weird" that I met mine on a very bad and kinky website. I don't regret it at all, but it is nice to know that people do meet online and it does work out. It makes me happy.

As well as all the other stories, they are completely adorable. Keep it coming! I love to hear all about romance and how it all happened. I usually ask people that I first meet how they met their husbands/wives. It is always interesting to know and it makes me happy that love is always around us.

Love is an amazing thing. Especially when you know exactly when it happens and how it effects you. I love it. Thank you everyone!

Met my husband in High School, our secondary life partner we met online and my girlfriend I met at a lifestyle munch. Pretty much knew right away with all of them that they were for me and forever

We were actually introduced on Halloween, at a party. I love Halloween more than ever now. It's a special day for us both.

I met him at my work..I work at a small store and he use to come in all the time but never say anything..then one day he spoke and nervously flirted with me.I knew at that point he was interested and acouple days later gave him my number..I love him so much!we are 8 urs apart in age and complete opposites but mesh very well together!

Well, I met his friend at a back yard camp out! haha Anyways, so after his buddy creeped my laptop and realized we did a lot of the same things he decided to try to hook us up. The only difficult thing was he didn't actually know me...so we went back and forth talking for awhile...ended up playing WoW together for a bit...Then he convinced me to come hang out with him a few times. Only I didn't realize it was all a ploy to get me to meet his friend without being creepy! haha long story short...we've been together for over 2 years now and I couldn't be happier!

Sort of an awkward story, I met my current bf through my ex-gf, we had broken up but were still talking and she kind of had a thing for him, then she introduced me to him and four years later me and him are still together and getting engaged, I don't talk to her anymore.

My husband (Matthew) and I just celebrated our Eighth wedding anniversary (but..we've been together since early 2001). We met in a college Biology class. I remember that I sat in the very front row, because I am nearsighted..I kept "feeling" these eyes on me...I would turn around, and he would be staring at me

One day, I had my digital recorder recording the lecture..he came up to me after class and was like "where did you get that?". Now, folks...we all know that there are at LEAST a dozen places those things could/can be purchased. So I was just like..."uhh...Staples" . He was so shy, but he just wanted to talk to me.

A week later, we ended up in a lab group together. I had not taken the Pre-Req. to the course, and was a lil' lost. He seemed to know what he was doing, so I asked him if he would be my study partner. We met at the library about twice when a buddy of his came by and asked if they were still "on" for going to the movies that night (It was HANNIBAL playing, and I REALLY wanted to see it; I had already read the book). I expressed that I wanted to see it, and he told me I could go if I wanted. We all went, and just had a nice night out.

But.....a week or two later was Vlentines Day. He came running out of class a couple days before to ask me if I wanted to go see CASABLANCA in the old Great Barrington Mass. theater (the old balcony style kind; verrry romantic!). I said "yes" and he showed up at my house with a single red rose and a card (Snoopy...he's been giving me Snoopy cards ever since). Well, the rest, as they say, is history. He told me that he loved me the second he saw me, and that he knew I was "the one". I have a terrific man.

I was a sr in highschool and he is 4 years older than me. Our sisters were friends, and Mike went to pick up his sister from a friends bday party that my sister went to as well, and he heard my sister trying to explain to my mom how to get out to this girls house, and he told her he'd take her to meet my mom near our house so my mom didnt have to try to figure out the back roads. I went with my mom to meet him to get my sister, and i told my mom he was cute . Ended up dating shortly after, and we've been together for almost 9 years, married for 6 years
