I'm interested in trying this. Have you made your own or just used a kit?

I bought a kit, didn't want to bother with cooking and finding the right consistency, wasting tons of sugar!

I tried it for the first time a few months ago, and I love it. I use the cotton strips method since it's easier for me than the sugar ball method- and I have found it to be less painful. I find sugaring to be easier and a lot less painful than waxing. It takes some practice but is much better and cheaper than waxing.

What I don't like in general about hair, that if I look at hair on my stomach, thighs, etc where I doesn't want to remove, it's so thin almost pulls out itself. Tried a few with tweezers and I can't even feel it. But where I do want to remove it's thick like on my face.. Sugar takes them 90% then a round of tweezering then it's done. I still shave the more sensitive parts and I can see hair 2-3 days after shaving, and the sugared area remains completely bare for at least a week. The hair still grows but a little below the skin. It takes it time to surface again.

I haven't yet, but I want to sometime in the next week or two. The method looks way more practical than waxing, and the stubble/razor burn from shaving is always a major drawback.

It's worth contributing 1 hour every few weeks to this matter.

I have made the homemade version before and tried it with not much success I made the mistake of using the little lemon juice in a bottle versus fresh squeezed but I want to try it again. Would love to not have to shave so often

I vaguely know what sugaring is, but have not tried it at all. Curious how others like it.

I tried it today, and it did not work for me at all. It was down right painful... worse than waxing for me.

I don't know what it is, but if it is easier and less painful than epilating then i'm all for it!
