I agree with DeliciousSurprise. If you have questions, I think it's safe to say that pretty much any member of the community would be happy to try and help you. Simply send a message to an individual or even post here on the forums.

Search Feature also works if you are trying to find discussions on products or see how many threads about a topic are already going. It took me a few weeks to use it because most sites only allow product searching any other features are found through the actual site map.

Something else about the Mentor Program that seems to be confusing for new members. You don't have to write any reviews or purchase any product to join the mentor program. You will get to request products just like an Advanced Reviewer can. (with a few differences in the process...i.e., your mentor orders it) You don't have to pinch your points or put any money of your own forth to get started. You certainly CAN and probably should so you have more things to review, but it's not necessary.

Eden Tube

If you make videos, you have an Eden Tube page. You might receive comments here or messages without knowing about it because there are no alerts automatically set up for Eden Tube. So if you're a video reviewer, be sure to check it occasionally!

Here's one I just answered in another thread regarding Free Assignments. We are limited to one EF sponsored free assignment per month. However, there are also free manufacturer sponsored products for review. These items are first come first served and are not limited to one per month. However, you can only have one review assignment at a time.

To find manufacturer sponsored items, go to:

Account-> Review Program -> Product Search

Then set up the search for "For Free Assignment" and "Manufacturer Sponsored"

Note for the Mentors: Keep this thread in your favorites or links and show it to your students. There are plans in the works for the blog and a LOT more around EdenFantasys lately.

Another misconception regarding the Mentor Program. When you are a student enrolled in the program, you automatically become an Advanced Reviewer when you graduate. You do not need to apply for an upgrade request. In fact if you are upgraded while still enrolled as a student, your mentor is no longer eligible for a gift card as compensation for working with you and graduating you.

Also, even Advanced Reviewers can participate in the Mentor program as a student. There is no benefit or compensation to either the student or mentor in this situation except for the working relationship and experience.

I honestly just found out that you can mix two review products into one shipping. I feel horrible since EF has been shipping my product separately for the last two years. For example, for Porn Club DVDs, the two DVDs were coming in separate packaging. I *just*, on my last order, figured out I can mix the two.

The EF Messaging Service is off by default and needs to be activated if you wish to receive private messages from members of the EF community. Once you create an account, go to your User Account and select "Messages" from the dashboard. You will be required to provide personal information as well as an email account before the service can be activated. This can especially be a problem if a mentor accepts a student but is unable to contact them when the service has not been activated.

For future reference should this situation occur, I found an old thread (link) in which Gary states to notify him and he will contact the student via their email account.

How to Join the EdenFantasys Affiliate Program
Here is a a page with sign-up instructions.

Affiliate signup is available in the dashboard/user account, but it's not exactly obvious how to go about joining.

I really like this thread, and I love that people are using screenshots to help guide folks around Eden. That is AWESOME.

EF has a Flickr group where you can upload pictures and link them in your reviews. Warning: be sure to set your privacy and content filters to the appropriate level depending on your photo content.

Something I just learned about the mentor program. If a mentor gets a student who is already advanced, you can still request free toys to review. However, the item value is capped at $30 and the reviewer can not request their regular free monthly assignment. Thanks for this info JR!
