Just a "What If" question. It might not be probable, but it is possible!

You've just gotten out of your car in the mall parking lot, you shut your door and immediately locked your car with your remote. At this point you notice you shut your car door on your dress, and in a moment of slight panic, as you reach for the door to free your dress, you drop your keys and accidentally kick them under your car, just out of your reach. Standing there frustrated, it gets worse as it starts to lightly rain, but the clouds and thunder tell you it will be pouring hard very soon.

What do you do?

LOL! This would be a really sucky situation to be in, let me knock on wood.. Well I would probably call on the very first and closest person I see in the parking lot and ask them for help. And I would just hope they are a nice person who wouldn't steel my car or anything else lol.

I live in Texas. The women here.... Would either rip the dress, pull out the pocket knife there Daddy/lover gave them and slice it, or just take the damn dress off, grab their keys and then get dressed again.


I know, I'm quite contrary about these topics... but it's only because I like for people to think some.

Girrrlll, letmetellyou...I have shut my hair in the door, I have shut my purse strap in the door, my dress and once I accidentally (well okay, absentmindedly slammed the door on my shin). It's all about the distractions.

OP: The decision is easy - take the dress off, grab my keys and put it back on; I'm small enough that unless you walked by me and deliberately looked you wouldn't be able to see me just glancing through the parking lot.

Depends how much I like the dress, and how much of it is stuck, but I'd probably rip it

I hesitated because I doubt that in a parking lot I would want to be in my skivvies. But I would probably take off the damn dress (if I was wearing one which would be unusual) and then retrieve everything and go home. Or I would rip the damn thing and then go home.

I have a panic attack just thinking about being trapped in a public place alone and vulnerable....so I'd probably panic and want nothing to do with shopping.

i would prob rip it and then go right home to change..but taken it off real quick seems like the best way

Hahaha! That's right! Oh goodness.. Take it off! Who cares if anyone sees, though I doubt they would. Anyone close enough to me should have gotten me my keys!

I'd probably stand there & get wet..waiting for someone I called. I love the rain anyways. ... But, if no one answers.. I'd probably just rip my dress & head home afterwards.. depending on how much i really loved the dress.... But I don't wear dresses.. soo.

This is somewhat of an odd hypothetical. I would probably curse a lot before yanking what I could of the dress out of the car. No need to buy another dress at the mall - I do not care about finishing my errands in a ripped dress.
