It was the 80's if that tells you anything. I was an 80's rocker girl, I had the big hair, spandex, leather. I was in Catholic school so there weren't any groups because it was a very small school. I was popular because I wouldn't conform to what everyone else deemed normal. We didn't have a dress code so we were free to wear whatever we wanted and I spent alot of time traveling to rock concerts.

We were neither the "in crowd" nor the "out crowd." Some of us were geeky, some of us were nerdy, some of us were both and some of us were neither. It made for very interesting get-togethers. =] I think part of the reasons why we still stay in contact after nearly a decade is because we were so different in high school already that there really wasn't any dramatic growing apart in terms of interest when we left for college.

I was that character.

Need to add ...

My boyfriend just told me exactly what position I held in high school. I was actually the popular one, which is why I was the leader of our group (and had more people than I remembered). I welcomed everyone who were rejected by the "popular" groups, so I was nicknamed Queen of the Freaks (since that's what we called ourselves), and everyone really liked me. He said that all of the guys in the group wanted to go out with me, but were cock-blocking each other so no one else could. This resulted in a stalemate and nothing was done about it, which is why I never dated and believed no one wanted me.

I had a harem of teenage geek boys and didn't know it. Damned teenage insecurities - on all our parts! Thank God it's over and one of them finally made it through (the guy I'm dating now).

None.

Mostly kept to myself, was in Band but not the most dedicated of student - spent time with pretty much anyone regardless of their clique. Mostly known for my art though - so many people came up to me who knew me and I didn't know who the hell they were, but they knew I could draw and stuff and it was rather weird.

When I was in school, it was kind of a weird situation, but cool as hell. For about a 4-5 year stretch of time, all of the cliques kind of merged and became one. You still had a small part of you that stood out as a primary, but we were all mainly one big group the years that I was in HS, and the parties were great.

I ran with the group from the "Breakfast Club" I swear to god. Everyone in my group was a charecter from that show. We were hated by all. Even the "nerds"
