I didn't stick to one group only, but the group that had most of my closest friends was.... the party group. Yep. Lots of bad things, but hey! It was high school! Lol

I was part of every group. I floated from one to another because I kind of found people boring and my extra-school stuff took up all my free time so wasn't able to be "social" with anyone.

I dabbled in every group and enjoyed every aspect that I participated in from acting/drama, music, sports, chess, math, art, UN etc... I just couldn't seem to stand the Student Council. They were so up their own arses at my old high school!!!

I was that random girl who was a part of so many things that I had friends in ALL circles. I was a cheerleader AND I was on the wrestling team for a while, I wasn't too girly and some of my best friends were "nerds". I actually ate with the nerds more than anything else. People thought I was more goth/punk because I never wore anything that they wouldn't sell at Hot Topic, and I didn't care for bullies, so after several suspensions people stopped picking on my friends, because they realized that whether I could handle them or not, I wouldn't stand by and watch people I cared about being hurt, which would mean THEY got a suspension too

I got along with just about everyone. I was teacher's pet when I wanted to, and slept in class when I didn't feel like listening. I was a straight A student when I actually turned IN my work, but didn't think high school was important enough to bother some of the time.

And that about sums up who I was

Goth geek. I was not the vamp goth or Grunge goth but a Victorian goth. I was more into steampunk with less punk. Also Emos are NOT Goth... sorry for all you emo lovers but I really wish people would stop calling goth people emo

My high school was pretty darn diverse, so I'm quite happy about that. Even though I hated going to high school, I was extremely popular back then. I was on the student council for 3 of the 4 years and a cheerleader simultaneously. I didn't quite fit in with most of the other cheerleaders because they truly acted like the stereotypical Hollywood teen-movie cheerleaders. There were a couple who were cool, but I wasn't that close to them.

I was a goth chick, but I also mingled a lot with other groups, and was accepted by them. I was very nerdy and shy, so most people just sort of gravitated to me and that's how I made my friends. I was nominated for tons of stuff my senior year book, but didn't win because, well, come on, the preppy blond chicks pretty much won all that stuff. The group that I mainly hung out with was the nerds though, because I can't deny who I am lol. We formed an anime club along with a gaming one back then. I even helped some younger classmen get their skateboarding club started, because a lot of those sorts of things had to get through me and I had to bring it up at council meetings, etc.

Now that I'm sick, I kind of miss those days when I was so damn active...Oh well, I am still pretty much a nerdy goth and I will most likely remain that way forever .

I went to HS in the 80s. I played a couple of sports, so I hung out with some jocks. I was in band, so I had plenty of band geek friends. And did some theatre. And played in a couple of rock bands and one punk band. And I did enjoy skateboarding. And quiz bowl. And street racing (don't try this at home, kids!). Didn't really deeply identify with any clique stereotypes. Just tried to stay amused and have a good time always.

I was in the band, so a bit of a band geek. But was also preppy and played some sports, so in a way I was out on my own a lot.
