Should women be able to walk around topless in the USA?

I think women walking around topless everywhere would cause a lot of auto-accidents and other mishaps.

I'd love to walk into a church topless just to watch everyones reaction. haha.

If they want to, I guess. I'd prefer to remain covered though.

I heard that some places where men can be topless women can too (such as New York). And I think that's great. And I'd love it if it was practical and didn't cause problems. But since society isn't mature enough to handle a little boob I think both genders should have to wear tops. Keep it equal. Maybe eventually people won't be so bothered by the human form.

Personally, while I believe in what I say I still suffer from the impact current societal standards have on me and would not like to see random old people walking around naked. But perhaps if it were more common I would be more comfortable with it. But I, like society seems to be, am not yet comfortable with that.

Where I live it's legal as well, mostly due to breastfeeding laws. I live in Alberta Canada. Yes they should be allowed if they want to. but nobody really does it here.

My little backwater small town is the most conservative place I have ever lived.
About a year ago some new age/sole/earth children/ hippies, whatever you wanna call them, moved into the county.
They set up a park waaaaaaay in the woods by a run off from a lake. They bought the land, but in some really nice camping hook ups, and opened it free to the public. Clothing optional.
It was a fantastic place!
If you wanted to be naked it was fine. Wanted to keep your undies on, that was great too. Everyone was happy just chillin' by the river in different stages of nude-ness.
Heck even families would go on picnics there!
People would come from all over to vacation there. The vacationers would spend time dinning and doing other activites in the village. The village was making some great money.
Not a year later somone's panties got in a bunch and she rallied a group together to try and close the public park. They took it to cort and won based on some sorta ol' fashioned indecency law the town had in place from the 1700s!
Why can't people just leave other people be, nobody was hurting anyone.

Its legal here in Austin. Its nice to be able to go to the springs and sunbathe without a top on.

I'm an a-cup, so most of the topless guys I see have larger boobs than me.

In certain places I wouldn't have a problem with it being allowed but I wouldn't want that to be the case anywhere.

I don't like that I, as a woman, am constantly looked at as a sexual object. My breasts aren't there to be oogled at. They're just a part of me like my arm or elbow.

In July I participated in the St Louis Slut Walk, and it was fabulous. I walked around the area with the other people, for an hour, topless. Had just a bit of tape covering my nipples. And, you know, it was really nice to be around a bunch of people, who acted like being topless was no big deal.

I didn't even want to put my shirt back on, but did anyway, in case we were to get pulled over driving home.

I don't think it should be illegal, but there should be some decorum about time and place.

Where the hell can you walk around topless where there are no kids around there are kids every where you go unless you are on a nude beach. I don't that should be allowed.

I don't know why it's okay for men to be topless and not women. It makes no sense. I imagine it'd be cooler for sports but some ladies just need more support and it's okay for women to run around in just sports bras.

Only the female body is sexualized in such a way that breasts need to be hidden. It's a double standard.

There should be a constitutional amendment allowing this. Let's make it happen!!

what if they are real nasty ass looking tits? not all are good looking. not all young women would be out there topless, most would be older women.
