We have drawn each other a tattoo which was cleaned up by a professional artist, and we have one matching tattoo that we both drew together.

My partner had her first gf's name on her and one month into dating her, we had to go get it covered up. I have my dad's initials on my rib cage next to my heart, but I would NEVER get anyone else's name, unless it were of my child's name.

I'd never get a name on me. A symbol, sure. But a name is just...meh. not my thing.

Rather than a name, I would get something that symbolized my wife like a song lyric or a favorite picture...but not her name.

NEVER. I would get cute little hearts or something on our ring fingers perhaps if we were to get married. But never anything big or names or anything.

For my 10th anniversary I got a tattoo of my husband's name in HIS signature with a red heart & swirls on my left wrist, just above my children's names w/their favorite color hearts. This all makes a bracelet type tat. I figured if I ever got divorced I would worry about changing it if that moment arrived.

I am not big on name or picture tats personally. Although some picture tats are amazing. I like the idea of a tat that incorporates the initials into a larger design.

I wouldn't get a partners name. I have my mom and brother's initials. That's the most I would do.

I voted other because I have one of my Married first initial, and I have one with my husbands initials in it. Although we have been together 14 years, I can not see a full name tatt till like 20.

No, I wouldn't get any words tattooed on my body though. Getting a name tattooed on your body sounds like a guaranteed way to make sure a relationship ends.

For me, I love tattoos but I don't want a single word anywhere on me. I like tattoos that compliment the person's body, not so much pictures and words. I'd get a small piece of a tattoo to represent my partner since he's effected my life so much, but never his name, or anyone's name.

I wouldn't and I must be in a macabre mood but when I thought about the problem of getting a tattoo I first went to the partner dieing soon after you get it and not divorce.
