I'm happy that they're even visiting so when they leave doesn't matter

My boyfriend used to drive an hour and a half to come see me in another city when we first started dating. We wished we could see each other more often, but we made it work. Now, we live 20 minutes away from each other and he's late all the time, lol, but it still works.

It does make a difference for me, since I tend to be one doing the planning and travelling. It's definitely been a limiting factor (6+ hours of plane/driving), but we've made it work so far.

My partner and I used to be long distance (2200 miles) so visits were rare. We always flew to each other so it was very planned out and much anticipated.

My fiance lives in Australia, and I am in the U.S. so after he flies for 26 hours to come see me, he usually stays for a month or two, otherwise that long flight just wouldn't be worth it.
