I'm a bit overwhelmed and been busy lately and trying to plan a vacation. Can anyone recommend a good romantic place to take my woman for vacation? We booked time off for the end of August and still need to decide where to go. We just want to chill at the beach/pool and have a romantic week basically. So nice beach/pool/blue water are high priorities.

Interested in something on the beach, quiet, don't care about nightlife/entertainmen t, prefer there to be no kids/teens ideally. Reasonable travel time/airfare cost.

Options:
Florida (either coast)
Cancun/Maya Riviera
Jamaica?
Virgin Islands
Bahamas

I've been to Places like Hedonism II/Desire and like clothing optional adult type stuff, but my SO is much more modest and not a swinger, so those places are out. I really liked Desire on the Maya Riviera, but its not on her list obviously, but the beaches/staff down there were great when I went. Jamaica was more of a mixed bag, so I don't know if I am dying to return there.

Any specific suggestions to help? Places you've been recently?


I think I've eliminated Dominican/Bermuda and the far islands towards S. America, because of travel time/flight availability/cost.

IF you can help, please share your experiences/recommenda tions. I am on a bit of a budget right now, $1300 or less per person with air. Too many choices! less
