#AskEden - How graphic is "too graphic"?

Contributor: Genderfree Genderfree
I know that there are some images that might be too revealing for reviews. How far does it go? For example, I had a thread that had a BDSM tutorial with an anime chick in it that was completely naked and tied up provocatively. It was well received. So, I am wondering, how far can I go with this sort of thing before it becomes too exposing?

I realize you might just want everybody's opinion on this.

But, if you're really wondering what is tolerable by Eden standards, you might want to ask admin directly.

Me personally, I'm hard to offend and there are some items I'd like a detailed real life photo to see how it works or how you wear it.

In my opinion, if it shows more than just some shoulder, upper chest, stomach or leg skin then it's way too graphic. That should be saved for a pornography website, not Eden Fantasys, in my opinion of course.

I crop my review photos, even if I am wearing jeans under a babydoll and I'm taking a photo of the back of the babydoll, I'll crop the photo shorter so that my rear end isn't in the photo, even if I am wearing jeans. I like to give some kind of an idea of how the item looks on, which is why I often wear camisoles and jeans & sometimes spandex shorts under some items, but there is a such thing as going overboard, so there are some things, like panties or anything like that that I do not post of me wearing. Not necessary!

Nipple, butt, crotch, etc -- way too much and I personally think this is not the place for that. It's just not necessary. And I know several other EF members off the top of my head that wouldn't enjoy having images too overboard popping up here. I mean, as we've discussed before, EF is supposed to be one of the more friendlier sex sites & that's why a lot of us women enjoy it. Not all women feel this way, but many of the ones I talk to regularly do. EF doesn't even sell porn, so I think that should be a good indication of what WE should and should not do. There's Eden tube or something like that & if someone wants to post overly graphic images/videos, it should be done there. And to tell the truth, if you have to wonder if it's crossing the line, I'd say it's probably crossing the line.

Pornographic images is something I try to avoid in my life, which is one reason I LOVE Eden. They don't force it on you. This type of image doesn't litter their entire site really, like most websites, so that's something a lot of us enjoy and are appreciative to. It'd suck for that to change.

There are specific websites out there for this kind of chat. There's Fetish something another which would be a more suitable place to post nude images. Not Eden.

Implied nudity is more than welcome, aka the ever-awesome "artistic nude" shot. We do have adult videos which show a little more skin than your average Eden Tube video, those are commissioned pieces and if you'd like more information on those, you can ask Carrie Ann or read this

What's not allowed:

- Exposed genitalia, male or female
- Exposed female nipples (those are the rules of society, so those are the rules here)

So say you have a full on porn shot?

Then you can digitize the "private parts"

But yes, if you have to ask it's probably crossing the line.

I think this site has a very "tasteful" vibe to it. I wouldn't show skin to be honest.

No reason you can't demonstrate BDSM tactics while still keeping clothes on. Take a look at Twistedmonk.com to see what I'm talking about.

This is one of the things I love about this site vs other sites. Tasteful reviews and product demonstrations kept me coming back and spending more then I ever have on items.
