New Anal Adventure

Contributor: CurvyVixen CurvyVixen
So, I'm pretty experienced when comes to sex and pleasing partners . I've had a good amount of sexual partners and have tried different fetishes and kinks . However, there is one thing I have yet to really explore and that is anal toys and anal penetration. I have only tried anal once with a past partner but that was yearssss ago . I want to know some things before I really invest myself into this and make a big mistake or end up injuring myself.

What kind of toys should i start with?

What kind of lube should I use?

How should I go about trying anal and anal toys?

Do's and don'ts of doing anal?

How can I involve my partner?

What are the best toy and techniques that you know?

Also is there anything else I should know that I haven't already asked you

There's a lot of questions here...so I'll try to address them one-by-one. Personally, I love anal play and love to incorporate it with my solo play and I've yet to get my wife onboard...still working on that!

What kind of toys should i start with?
Start with a plug. One with a flared base of course. Silicone is best.
Maybe in the diameter of .75 to 1.25". The Doc Johnson Mood Naughty plugs are my favorite. They are firm and flexible and have longer and narrower base shaft that enables them to stay in.

What kind of lube should I use?
A water-based anal lube. They're a little thicker and hold up better than standard lubes.

How should I go about trying anal and anal toys?
Take it slow and work up to it...don't force it. Relax and ease into it.

Do's and don'ts of doing anal?
As I said...don't force it. If it hurts, stop. Take it slow and enjoy it.

How can I involve my partner?
Good question...I'm still trying to figure that one out!

What are the best toy and techniques that you know?
As I mentioned my go to is the Mood Naughty plugs. They stay put and are great for sitting and grinding on while masturbating!

Also is there anything else I should know that I haven't already asked you
I'm sure...but that's too much to type =P. Just find something comfortable and explore yourself!

I'd recommend you to start with just a finger or two plus plenty of lube. In my opinion, silicone-based or oil-based lubes would be better for anal because they are thick and last longer.

When you get comfortable with finger, you may work your way up to the toys. For starters I think silicone butt plug with no texture and simple classic design would be the perfect fit.

There are two the most important rules for beginners in anal - go very slow and use sufficient amounts of lubricants.

Understanding of what you like the most and what you want to do will come with the experience.

Good luck!

To make your first steps into anal sex pleasurable and safe, there are common rules for beginners - go small and slow.

For the beginning, the better choice would be a tapered, smooth, small plug made of safe material like silicone. Something like Sweet Love, Classic Butt Plug, Back Play Gem.

If you're not sure what size will fit you the best, you may look towards anal sets for beginners, for example Love you back.

Regarding lubes, first of all, they are a must for any anal play! Oil and silicone-based options have are great because they have a thick consistency and are long-lasting, but they don't work with all types of sex toys materials.

Water-based lubes are versatile, safe for any toys and condoms and very easy to clean up. So if you're going to use silicone toys, water-based lubricant would be the safest bet here.

Don't use desensitizing lubes, because if your session is becoming harmful, you won't feel anything.

As I said, trying anal you should go slowly, gradually working your way up. Stop with the first signs of discomfort.

Do's of doing anal:
- do some cleaning before;
- use a plenty amount of lube;
- go slow and take small steps;
- reapply lube if necessary;
- be aroused;
- be relaxed;

Don'ts of doing anal:

- don't use things that are not designed specifically for anal play;
- don't switch from anal to vaginal/oral sex or use a fresh condom doing this;
- don't have anal sex if you have health issues in that area (hemorrhoids or tears, etc.)
- don't apply any force.

Info about the best toys and techniques you may find in our comprehensive guides:

I hope this will help!

Best of luck!

Hi CurvyVixen,

I was naive about the role of anal stimulation during female orgasm. I have never had anal sex. My fiancee has had a lot of anal sex experiences. I'll get to the point: she told me she'd experience body trembling orgasms masturbating her clit while her former boyfriends were balls deep in her ass. That piqued my interest. I had no clue of the role women's butts in their orgasms. So I did research. I learned that women's butts are jammed with sensitive nerve sensors. I learned that women's sphincters spasm during orgasm. Back to the point: my fiancee will experience intensely mystical orgasms with either one of my well lubricated fingers or a butt plug in her ass, one of my fingers massaging the inner ridges of her pussy, and my mouth and tongue massaging and sucking her clit to levitating orgasm. My fiancee videoed one of her above described orgasms. She can be clearly heard on video gasping for air as she experienced mystically euphoric orgasm.

My advice is to research butt plugs and buy one or more, a lot more. They will increase the intensity of your orgasms.

Happy Weekend

It's also a fact men have the same sensory nerve endings, millions of them. And strong sphincter muscles. And something women don't in that canal, a prostate. Massaging a man's prostate, sphincter and sensory nerve endings can be extremely pleasurable if brave enough to experience it. It's also a fact a man will howl and moan like a well paid porn performer. However he's not faking it.

I will keep it simple.
-Small butt plugs will get you started try having one in during sex doing doggie style. Work up in size.
Lube I like water base silicone ones are hard to wash off makes my ass feel greasy. Easier clean up is nice especially if you want to go to sleep.
-I don't do anal unless I have already gone number 2 that day. Less messy and having a bathroom close by is helpful. Might have to use it after anal and you will fart.
- I use my favorite clit toy before and during anal really helps relax me so he can put it in. Also great orgasm that way.
- Beaded toys are a lot of fun very pleasurable going in and out to do the all the nerves.
-Communication to start I had to tell my husband just the tip wait a bit more wait a bit more. Each time before doing a bit more he would sometimes go in and out a bit helps loosen you up.
