I was wondering what a good first glass toy would be! What was yours? Was it a good choice for your first? Any advice is awesome!

Mine was the Icicles 24, with was an impulse buy. I've seen a lot of people recommend the Bent Graduate as a first glass toy...

Was your Icicles 24 a good introduction into glass toys for you?

If you know you'll like nubs and are used to soft toys that are larger in girth, it's a good one. I personally only like it at certain times and after a warm-up. If I were choosing a glass toy specifically to be a good first toy rather than just being like "ooh, pretty!", then I'd pick something double-ended with texture on one end and smooth on the other. Maybe the Honey Wand, but it only has a little bit of texture.

Again, I've heard good things about the Bent Graduate (the Amethyst looks almost identical in pictures, except different colors).

My very first glass toy was purchased almost a decade ago. It's a wand and the sucker could kill someone if push came to shove. I hate it.

My first and only glass toy from Eden is the Icicles No 17. Man, I love that thing so much! It is THE favorite toy in my collection. And I have quite a few.

I have put it through the wringer, so to speak, and it's holding up nicely! I love the flower in the tip. It's a great size, a great weight and the curve makes thrusting a breeze.

Although my first toy was not this way, if you are totally clueless as to your preference, you might want to get a double ended dildo, with a smooth end and a textured end. Some examples on this site are the Double head fantasy deluxe, Lifelike ribbed G-spot, Savanna's spiral wrapped G-spot wonder, and Honey wand.

My first glass toy was Shiny Orglassm from a big European toy company called Toy Joy. I've got it a year ago and reviewed it here. I loved it but as the summer ended I stopped using it frequently because I didn't have time. Now, that I got the Amethyst (that is practically a clone of the Bent Graduate) the big glass dong doesn't get much use. Instead I use either the Amethyst, my Acute or my Delight (that I'm still trying to figure out and don't want to give up on it because of the price tag).

Thank you so much! I think that this one would be a good double ended one as people have been saying link , but this one's link so pretty! Do you think that either of these would be good to start with?

Personally the Blossom G would win between those if I were buying. The Cyberglass looks kind of painful to me at the top end... The Blossom G is actually on my main wishlist. It has a little bit of texture with the nubs... The yellow, ball-shaped end would probably feel a bit more textured than the red, pointier/egg-shaped end?

But yeah, I think the Blossom G would be a decent toy.

I personally have the cyberglass four-way G and it's not really good for a beginner, unless you are used to similarly textured dildos (of other materials). It takes a while to figure out how you want to use it and yes, that head can hurt if you don't know what to do with it.

Between those two, I would choose the Blossom G. It looks like it would be a great first glass toy and it's not too overly textured.

My first glass toy was the Ocean Breeze, it was great for me, but since they changed the design, I think it is rather ugly. It was a pretty standard dildo though. Great for beginners!
