I boiled my new silicone dildo for four minutes, then washed twice with soap and hot water before using it just yesterday. I just read that toys have

So I accidentally used a silicone lube on a silicone toy :-( Anyone know the best way to wash it off without permanantly ruining the toy?

Can 100% silicone toys safely touch each other?
I'm under the impression that if a toy is 100% silicone, like this or this, rather than TPR silicone, that it won't melt against other 100% silicone..

I don't think so. The material itself is nonporous, so any small surface damage shouldn't affect the sanitary nature of it.

The only thing I could see changing would be the texture, but you said they were very small so I doubt this is the case either.

I agree with Svenson, but, one thing to keep in mind is how you plan on using this. If it is anally, you might want to throw a condom on it so you don't feel the scratches.

Thanks for the replies! Well I was mainly worried about it falling apart. I read somewhere that once silicone gets scratched or maybe it was when it gets cut then it starts falling apart or something like that, I can't remember exactly what it said. So I'm kinda worried that scratches might get worse. I will try and take a good enough picture if I can.
