I have no idea, but it's annoying! You know, some silicone doesn't have any drag and some has a horrible drag! I know Matryoshka is draggy, but then other toys that are silicone aren't as bad. It seems like the shiny silicone is worse than the matte to me.

Well, I don't know for certain but I think it's like the difference between surface finishes on plastics? You can have the exact same materials in a plastic and it can be smooth to the touch or not. Something about the surface of the silicone on certain blends or finishes must be causing resistance. Does it happen more with certain hardnesses? I don't have a large enough toy collection to compare on my own ;P
