they work pretty well. From the guy's side of the ring, it adds a little vibration but really not much else. Other solid cock rings are nicer once you figure out the right size.
As for vibration, that's been pretty hit or miss for me, so I don't have a favorite one in that category.

Two I'd recommend. I'd very much second newme21's suggestion of the Tantus beginner, which is the one we most often use. A second choice would be the Jollies version, which is much more flexible, slimmer, and stretchy enough to apply to a package after the blood gets going.
