Silicone based lube?

Most people will advise against using a silicone based lube with silicone toys, but I've heard that its ok to use a good quality silicone lube. Is that true for these butt plugs? If so what lube do you recommend?

You can potentially use a quality silicone lube with a silicone toy, however, it's recommended that you spot test first. If there is any reaction, then you should not use them together. Also, you should spot test every bottle of lube, even if it is the same brand. Manufacturers may change the formulation without you knowing.

I would just avoid it entirely. It's not worth the trouble, and I would hate to have the material react inside my body..

The spot testing advice is sound, but I'm still sticking with water based lubes for those plugs -- Maximus and Sassy Booty are both thick enough to work quite well with them.

I'm getting ready to try the Synergy lube with is 90% water & 10% silicone and is supposed to be safe for silicone toys.

I've been reading up on this the past 24 hours or so, looking into using silicone with my Feeldoes. From what I gather, both the lube and the toy should be high-quality, pure silicone. However, the subject is rather confusing.
Here is one of the more useful articles I found, written by the toy guru, Metis Black. link Keep in mind, this was written in '05, so it is possible there is more accurate, current info out there.

Does anyone have specific anal lubes you would recommend trying (that are also safe for silicone)?
