"I would say it really depends on if you like vibrations and a bit more give. I like the Pure Wand for its weight (although it gets neglected for the Eleven), but I like the Vr9 with its vibrations. I don't know that I would say one is necessarily better than the other, it's just what I'm in the mood for on a particular night."
Now I have a hard time picking between the two!

Thank you for posting this question; I've been wondering the same thing. I have (and love) the Pure Wand and have been tempted by the Vr9 because they look like they would have a very similar effect, except for the vibration.
I'm glad Sammi and Rossie pointed out the "give" factor. I've never had an internal vibrator, so I didn't realize it would have more give. (My Ella has more give and I'm not as fond of it as I am of the Pure Wand.)
Did you end up getting the Vr9? If so, what did you think of it? There have been so few reviews on it that I've been hesitant to order one.

Ok, so I own both now. I confess I'm still team Pure Wand. The Jopen also gives great G spot stimulation but it's like apples and oranges. I like the Pure Wand's hard pressure better for getting me over the edge. My review of the VR9 is live here: link
