I don't use the Nuva Ring, but I know people, friends, relatives and patients who have it. They all seem to love it. It works like the Birth Control Pill, but is worn internally, instead of taken orally.

It is even more efficacious in real world usage, because it eliminates having to remember to take a pill every day. (Which is the main reason people "get pregnant while on the Pill.")

I don't use the Nuva Ring, but a friend of mine does. She loves it, but her boyfriend does complain that he can sometimes feel it during intercourse.

As for the patch -- which Beck recommended -- I was on that for a little while, and it was okay. I liked that I didn't need to remember it every week, but I hated that the edges of the patch seemed to look really dirty and gross after just a day or so. I also had the patch sometimes peel up a bit, which made me worry that it wasn't working quite as well as it was supposed to be.
