It did not hurt when I lost my virginity, but the next couple of times I had sex it hurt a little.

The first time we attempted to have sex it was a spur of the moment thing and when he went to put on the condom I got really nervous, stopped being aroused, and my muscles tensed up. I thought that it was supposed to hurt, and that I just had to suck it up. The fact that I was expecting pain made me tense up, which is actually what caused the pain. There was no way he could fit in with me all clenched up like that.

After that, I did some reading and found out that it actually doesn't have to hurt. That if you're aroused and relaxed there shouldn't be pain, except in a few cases where women have really thick hymens.

We decided to try again, and it went so much better. I was mentally and physically prepared and much more relaxed because I wasn't anticipating pain. I didn't tense up, and it didn't hurt at all.

Mulder's equipment was not virgin friendly on top of him being a clumsy and clueless 17-year-old boy back then. Yes, I admit to it hurting. Funny thing is that I bled more when we got back together 14 years later than I did that First Time.

My Man prepared me very well for sex, by manually stimulating me, gradually getting my vagina used to having something in it, (his fingers, which I still LOVE) and teaching me how to become excited and aroused and wet. I also helped myself by learning to masturbate to orgasm, so I'd be all ready when we finally made love.

It didn't hurt, although I thought I would somehow "magically" have an orgasm, and of course, I didn't. That had to wait until I finally (a few weeks later) let him give me oral sex. I didn't bleed either. He had conditioned me so well, that there was nothing to impede his penetration. We learned then that when trying new things, "Slow and steady wins the race."

The first few times I gave HIM oral sex, I hurt him. I bit him. After a few times, we realized that I couldn't (at that time) have an orgasm while he was in my mouth. Of course, I can now, and do frequently, but that was many years ago. I had to train myself NOT to clamp down my jaw when I orgasmed.

I found opening my mouth and screaming to work much better.

YES. I hadn't ever used so much as a tampon before I was penetrated. Ow. Blood everywhere. He didn't know I was a virgin so he freaked out. I had sex 3 times the next day and still bled horribly and it still hurt. I don't know what I was thinking!

YES YES YES. It was so ridiculously painful that the only thing that got me through was wanting to get it over with. My hymen was annoyingly thick and took a good half hour to get through completely. Bled for three days after the first time, and bled every time after that for about a month.

I didn't bleed nor did it hurt, but I do admit it wasn't as pleasurable as I imagined it would have been. All my friends said it was supposed to hurt and when I said it didn't they automatically didn't believe it was my first time. I'm glad to hear some other people haven't hurt/bled!

It didn't hurt for me at all and I didn't bleed even a drop. All my friends at the time said it would but i guess i was just kinda lucky that It didn't hurt.

It hurt but I expected it to, so it didn't deter me form further sex with my first serious boyfriend who I also lost my virginity to. I hurt the first 3-4 times. I didn't bleed though. My cherry was popped previously.

Nope, first time did not hurt me. I actually didn't notice pain until probably a year or so after the first time, when I went longer periods without having sex. Weird.

No, but by that point I was using tampons and had had manual stimulation many times.

My hymen was broken when I was a little girl in an accident, it stung but I don't consider that losing my virginity since it wasn't sexual. When I lost my true virginity it didn't hurt but I was left wondering why there was this whole big damn fuss over something so wonderful and yet rather forgettable. I happily learned that sex gets better with practice and age

It actually didn't hurt for me, at all. My partner was my high school boyfriend, and we'd been "fooling around" in various ways for almost a year by that point, so we were very familiar with one another and very relaxed. I think that probably helped a lot.

pain may be too much of a word in my case, but it was not comfortable. we were both 17 and inexperienced... it took me a while to truly enjoy sex and have orgasms... time and pratice make perfect

There was considerably less pain than there was for the next few times when I suddenly got nervous.

I had no hymen to break and have never bled.

Yes, but I wouldn't say that the pain was anything more than discomfort. We were both as relaxed as possible, and my husband was careful to go slow and listen to me as well as follow my cues. We had sex again that night, and then every day for the next week. I was certainly sore during all that time, and for several days after the fact, but not enough to deter me from it!

Hell to the yes that crap hurt. I remember it vividly. We were in my ex's room...all wood panels and floor...laying on a mattress that had no bed frame. I was on my period and he wanted to have sex. So, I let him and HOLY SHIT DID IT HURT. I cried and begged him to stop. He did and I vowed I'd never have sex again.

Some vow. HAHA. But, seriously, the first time was super duper suckful.

The first time, it didn't hurt but I was scared so it was not pleasurable. My hymen was broken earlier, playing sports.

Yeah I have to agree. Mine didn't hurt nor was it uncomfortable, but I agree that I was sore for like a week afterwards!

Yep. My bf fell on me and forcefully tore my hymen and I bled for 2 days. Was a real mood killer, but with my bf almost in tears due to the accident and feeling sorry, it wasn't anything that was bad. I mean, it had to be done, though i wish it was a little less forceful.

Yes, it hurt me pretty badly. Apparently my hymen must have been thick or something. It took him several minutes of continuous pressing to enter and we both felt the sudden give when the hymen broke and he was able to enter. The remnants of the hymen made an audible "grinding" type of noise when he began thrusting (I don't know how else to describe the sound). Though I bled just a small amount, I was so sore afterward that I cried in the shower because even water hurt -- let alone soap, washcloths, or even toilet paper. I was sore for a week afterward and dreaded urinating and showering (and I am a hygiene freak).

I was 22 years old at the time and had been using tampons for years (from the age of 14). I remember how painful it was when I first began to use tampons and thought that the necessary stretching of my hymen to get them into place would have helped matters when I had sex the first time. So I was shocked how painful my first time was. The best way I can describe the pain would be to say that it felt like what I'd imagine trying to press a penile-shaped object through the soft flesh of my cheek to tear a hole through it would feel like. Yep, ripping my hymen hurt THAT bad.

My first time really, really hurt. I was 17, and I was pretty nervous. I also didn't know the guy all that well, which contributed to the being nervous, and I didn't have a lot of experience to begin with, so my first time was basically a big disaster. It actually kind of put me off sex for a while, which ended up being good, because I started playing with my own body and learning what worked for me.

I don't remember my hymen ever tearing. I did gymnastics and horseback riding as a kid, so that may have done it. Also, more women than you'd think have either no hymen or very thin ones that all but wear away when they hit puberty.

All I know is that I was masturbating with insertable objects from at least age 10. I lost my virginity when I was 18, so by that time there was definitely nothing left. I would describe it as fun - not good, but fun. I was just happy I wasn't a virgin anymore at that point. It took a bit of practice (and a better partner) to get to the really good stuff.

Nope, it was extremely tight. It felt a little bit of soarness. My boyfriend wouldnt go in anymore when he saw I wasnt liking it all that much. I felt so bad, for him. He was nice and took it really slow, untill I got use to having sex. We were both virgins so.....it was ausome

I was 16 when I lost my virginity and it didnt hurt at all. I thought it was supposed to, so I actually thought something was wrong with me because it didnt hurt one bit. But I guess all girls are different.
